“Have you calmed down, dear?” Drayken asked.
“No,” Synthia replied. Then her gaze shifted to the side, toward Rowena. “Tell me what happened. Did he force you?”
“No, milady,” Rowena said, bowing her head. “I have a habit of sleepwalking while I’m asleep, which caused this to happen. I’m sorry.”
Synthia drew a breath of hot air and sighed. “Fine, fine. We’re getting late, let’s get dressed. Today is the Dragon Festival, after all.”
“Yes,” Drayken agreed without hesitation.
Soon after, they came out of their house, greeted by the servants, and had lunch before heading into the streets to take in the festive atmosphere.
