Catching the subtle curve of her lips, Bryan playfully retorted, “Laughing at me, huh?”
The playful rise in his voice, combined with Eileen’s melodious and soothing response, filled the quiet room.
Suddenly, Eileen felt something sticky on her fingers, unsure of where Bryan had pressed her hand.
Bryan didn’t stop. He raised Eileen’s hand above her head, gripping her sticky fingers firmly.
Instinctively, she tensed and balled her hand into a fist, resisting his hold. She then lifted her leg and thrust her foot against his abdomen, pushing him away with a forceful kick. Groaning, Bryan released her.
Glancing back, she noticed a share transfer agreement on the desk, illuminated by the moonlight. Bryan’s signature was already on the document—only hers was missing.
Before Eileen could react further, Bryan was behind her again, wrapping his arms around her.
“Haven’t you given up yet?” she asked, tilting her head slightly. She caught sight of his sharply defined jawline.
He leaned in, resting his chin on her shoulder. His breath was warm against her earlobe and collarbone.
“How could I give up on my love for you?” he whispered into her ear. “Do you love me?”

Bryan’s fingers deftly lifted her chin, turning her face toward his. “It is relevant. If you love me, you’ll listen to me.”

He kissed her lips once more. “Eileen, I can barely restrain myself. Sign it, and we can move forward.”
His voice was low and raspy, laden with pressing desire.
“Maybe we can continue first?” Eileen whispered, her body responding to the heat between them.
“Sign it, and then you can have what you want,” Bryan urged, his impatience evident. His tongue grazed her delicate collarbone, sending warmth cascading through her.
