He shook the vial again, then found a very thin rope and tied it around the vial. After that, he called in a mastiff and secured the rope around the dog’s neck.
“What do you think? Do you feel confident enough to take it off?” Christos patted the mastiff’s head and grinned malevolently.
Then, in a cautious tone, he added, “I’ve developed the drug you’ve been injected with. It’s not like the others, which don’t have antidotes. After all, I consider myself quite thoughtful. As long as you inject this liquid… and if you can endure it, you’ll recover fully. However, even if you do make it, I’m not sure if your wife and daughter will wait for you until then.
