Chapter 91 The Game Begins
Of course. Sierra didn’t refuse. She had said those things on purpose–she wanted Kason to show his true colors.
She had to seek justice for the girls who had died tragically, just like Daphne. As for the marriage alliance between the Xander family and the Richardson family and whether the Xanders would face retaliation from the Richardsons, it wasn’t something she cared about.
She was already prepared. In the car, she casually touched the necklace around her neck, her fingers brushingagainstthe pendant. Inside was a miniature camera she had spent a fortune on.
Kason had no guard against her, so he likely wouldn’t be suspicious.
Still, something about this didn’t sit right with Sierra.
Shaneand Kason were clearly working together, yet for some reason,Shane had shown her all of Kason’s dirty secrets- without telling Kason.
Then again, Shane was a lunatic.
He never needed a reason to do things. He acted purely on impulse.
The car soon came to a stop. As Sierra looked at their destination, her gaze grew even colder.
Kason had brought her to a private club. No surprise–he just couldn’t help himself.
She glancedathim with asmirk. “Thisisit?â€
There was something about Peyton that got under his skin and made his pulse race. She was moreexhilaratingthananyonehe’d ever toyed with before. It would beashame tokillher too quickly. He wanted to take his time and make it last.
With that thought, he said, “You’ll see once you go inside. I spent days preparingthisjust for you. Hope you
like it.â€
Sierra gave a carelesssmile, stepped out of the car, and walked inside without a hint of hesitation.
Kason led her to a private room he had reserved. The moment the door shut behind them, Sierra felt a flicker of tension in her chest–but her expression remained unreadable
She watched as Kason took off his suit jacket. Her breath caught slightly.
But to her surprise, he didn’t make another move. Instead, he gestured towards the window,
Sierra walked over, raising an eyebrow at him, as if to say, Let’s see what kind of game you’re playing
Kason pressedabutton, and the curtains slowly pulled back. Sierra took one look outside, and her eyes instantly locked onto the scene, her expressionsharpening
Through the glass, she saw a massive cage made of iron mesh. Inside, a huge, snarling wolfdog paced restlessly.
“What is this?†A bad feeling settled in her gut.
Kason checkedhiswatch and smirked. “The show’s about to start.â€
As soon as he finished speaking, the sound of metal clankingrangout. The cage door opened, and a person was thrown
inside.
The wolfdog had clearly been trained. The moment it saw someone enter, itlungedat the man. He barely dodged in time and immediately started running forhislife.
Butwhere could herun? The cage door had been shut behind him. His only option was to keep running in circles. desperately trying to evade the beast. Several times,Sierrasaw the wolfdog nearly sink its teeth into him.
“Sitbackandenjoy. This’ll take a while.†At some point, Kason had poured two glasses of red wine. He handed one to Sierra,

She let out a cold laugh and looked straight at Kason. “You think I’d enjoy this?â€
“You don’t?†Kason seemed genuinely surprised,as if the thought hadn’t even crossed his mind.
He had sensed the bloodlust in Sierra–he had assumed she’d be into this. Disappointment flashed in his eyes. Just as he was about to say something, Sierra spoke again.
This? There’s nothing exciting about it. It’s boring. Get rid of it.â€
Kason’s eyes lit up. He knew it–Sierra was just likehim. What surprised himwashow similar their tastes were.
Laughing, he said, “I didn’t know whatyou’dbeinto, so I kept it light tonight. Next time,I’lltake you somewhere even thrilling. But trust me, this is stillagoodshow–justwatch.â€

The glass wasn’t soundproof–every agonized scream echoed through the room.
Sierra’s eyelids twitched slightly, but her voice remained cold. “Not worried someone might end up
dead?â€
Kason chuckled, completely unfazed. “Nah, they know what they’re doing. No one dies here–it’s just for entertainment.â€
