Chapter 1052

Sierra had just thrown her clothes back on, so her outfit looked messy, her hair disheveled. Being in the same room with Shaun like this was enough to make anyone’s imagination run wild.

She grabbed the club owner, tears streaming down her face.

“Help me! Mr. Lane tried to assault me!”

What?

The club owner froze. “You’re saying Mr. Lane…”

Sierra sobbed, her voice cracking. “I brought him the hangover soup, and then he… He started groping me, and he even tore my clothes… I’m so scared! You have to protect me!”

The club owner looked at Shaun. “Mr. Lane… What’s…”

Shaun’s expression darkened, stormy and unreadable. “You’re saying I tried to assault you?”

Sierra trembled. “Mr. Lane, I know you’re powerful, and I’m a nobody who you can just crush like an ant. But I have my dignity! You can’t just do whatever you want with me!”

With that, she bolted from the room.

Shaun let out a humorless laugh. Sierra really knew how to make people sick.

Just then, Warren rushed in. “Shaun! What happened? Some woman just ran out of your room in a panic, and there are tons of reporters outside!”

Reporters?

Shaun frowned, narrowing his eyes. “Reporters? Where did they come from?”

The club owner broke out in a cold sweat. “It’s the 70th anniversary of our club tonight. I personally invited the media. I’m sure that lady just ran straight into them!”

Warren’s tone turned sharp. “If she says anything in front of the press, it could seriously affect the company’s stock.”

Shaun was a CEO, so his personal reputation and the company’s development were directly linked. Any scandal could damage everything.

Shaun’s eyes narrowed. He realized he had seriously underestimated Sierra–she clearly came prepared tonight.

Shaun stood. “Let’s go and see what’s going on!”

Outside, a crowd of reporters had gathered around Sierra, who was crying and wailing.

“I’m telling the truth!” she cried. “Shaun Lane, the new rising businessman, tried to assault me! I fought back with everything I had, but he was violent… These are the marks he left on me!

She lifted her sleeves, revealing the bruises on her arms. The reporters immediately started snapping pictures furiously.

Warren stepped forward, his face dark. “What are you doing?”

Sierra turned and saw him.

Warren glared at her like a predator. “Who do you think you are? Are you out of your mind, slandering Shaun like this?”

Sierra screamed, terrified. “Ahh! Don’t come near me! Help! He’s trying to kill me! Somebody help!”

The reporters swarmed, cameras clicking nonstop. “Mr. Lane, this woman just accused you of assault! Is it true?

“Look at the bruises on her! Is what she says true?”

“Answer us, Mr. Lane!”

The scene was spiraling out of control.

Warren barked, “Security!”

A group of men in black rushed over, forming a barricade. “Step back! Everyone, move back!”

Warren turned to Shaun. “This is getting out of hand. We need to leave.”

Shaun looked up and saw that Sierra had already climbed into a luxury car and driven off.
