Tyler and Sierra’s expressions darkened immediately. They were shocked that, even when facing such a powerful adversary, Leander had the audacity to call The Demise a second–rate sect. It was an astounding display of arrogance.
“Kid, you’re asking for death!” Tyler’s rage flared as he stepped toward the courtyard entrance.
“I need to warn you!” Leander spoke again. “This is my courtyard! Outsiders aren’t welcome! Think carefully about the consequences before you take another step p>
Everyone was taken aback by Leander’s blatant threat, including Tyler, who stopped in his tracks, a slight tension forming on his face.
He wasn’t afraid; he just found it unbelievable.
As a core disciple of The Demise, he was not only born with immense strength but also mastered many of the sect’s ultimate martial arts techniques. Even the renowned ancient martial practitioners from Mornwick didn’t intimidate him. Yet here was Leander, seemingly fragile, daring to threaten him.
Sierra and the others were equally shocked, their expressions a mix of confusion and disbelief. They couldn’t understand how Leander showed no fear and even dared to threaten the intimidating Tyler.
Throughout Tardide Valley, it was well–known that, aside from the elders and elite disciples of The Demise, no one would dare stand up to Tyler. Whenever he appeared, nearly every household greeted him with smiles.
Seemingly fragile, Leander brazenly challenged Tyler with an air of superiority. The group couldn’t believe what they were hearing.
“Kid, your courage is truly impressive. You insulted The Demise, and now have the nerve to threaten me p>
Tyler paused in shock for a moment before a cruel grin spread across his face. One punch from him could defeat any formidable creature. What made Leander think he had the right to threaten him?
“I’m intrigued to see what happens if I set foot in this courtyard p>
Ignoring Leander’s warning entirely, Tyler stepped forward, ready to seriously harm or even kill him at the slightest provocation.

Tardide Valley was a traditional Escain settlement area, beyond the reach of national laws. In this place, he could cripple or kill people without facing any consequences, which allowed him to feel completely unrestrained.
Sierra and the other new disciples of The Demise secretly wished for Tyler to beat Leander into submission, cager to showcase the sect’s strength.
Just as Tyler raised his foot, a brisk gust of wind swept through, causing the girls‘ skirts to billow
All they saw was a blur before a figure suddenly appeared in front of Tyler in a flash.
His expression shifted drastically, unable to process what was happening. In an instant, his towering frame–nearly six feet tall and weighing over two hundred pounds–was hoisted off the ground.
As Sierra and the others gathered their wits, their eyes widened in disbelief.
A slender, pale hand gripped Tyler’s neck. It belonged to none other than Leander.
They could hardly believe what they were seeing. The strong and formidable Tyler, a core disciple of The Demise, was effortlessly subdued by this fragile–looking man!
They rubbed their eyes, but the scene before them remained impossible to accept.
Tyler’s face was a mask of horror, his mind completely blank.
As he hung suspended in the air, he tried to struggle but found himself entirely restrained by an unseen force. He couldn’t move. Fear overwhelmed him.
With Tyler in his grasp, Leander’s indifferent gaze swept over him.
“I warned you. If you intend to step into this courtyard, you should consider the consequences. Do you really want to try p>
Tyler could feel the cold emptiness in Leander’s stare, and fear consumed him entirely.
He couldn’t speak; only his eyes begged Leander for mercy.
For the first time, the so–called strongest warrior of Tardide Valley realized that his title was merely relative. There were forces in this world he could not hope to match.
Leander glanced at Tyler once more, and the next moment, he casually tossed him aside as if he were nothing.
Tyler flew over ten meters, crashing into a rock. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth as his face turned pale with shock.

“I came here to plant,” Leander said calmly, “and I didn’t want to cause too much of a disturbance. Consider this both a mercy and a warning. If I catch you near this courtyard again, I won’t hesitate to cripple you. Now, get lost p>
As Leander’s thunderous roar faded, Tyler didn’t even bother wiping the blood from his mouth before turning and fleeing, disappearing in the blink of an eye.
Having been completely subdued by Leander in under a minute, the core disciple of The Demise didn’t dare stick around any longer.
“Listen up, ladies! Don’t test my patience with your ignorance! I may prefer not to harm women, but if I hear from you again, I won’t hesitate to go beyond my limits!” Leander’s icy gaze swept over Sierra and the others.
Moments ago, the girls had been full of arrogance, but now they were utterly deflated. Witnessing Leander effortlessly defeat Tyler had left them terrified, their faces pale as they hurried away.
Leander returned to his business as if nothing had happened, meticulously tending to the young plants in the courtyard, fully focused on the task at hand.
He devoted the entire day to the garden, eating and resting alongside the Silverleaf seeds, until late at night when he finally rose to head back inside.
Just as he stood, he abruptly paused.
He sensed someone approaching the courtyard, moving with a speed that unmistakably marked them as a martial practitioner skilled in inner strength.
Judging by the footsteps and the fluctuations of energy, Leander gauged the newcomer’s power -a master at the early stage of the Grandmaster level, considered a top–tier martial practitioner in Astria.
Is this another one from The Demise?
His demeanor shifted, growing serious as impatience began to rise within him. After enduring repeated provocations from The Demise, he considered whether it was time to confront and completely overpower them.
As he mulled over his options, the newcomer approached the courtyard, a fragrant breeze following her.
Turning around, Leander spotted a tall, slender woman standing just outside.
With a beautiful face marred by a frosty expression, she bore a slight resemblance to Yvette, though her aura radiated a deeper sense of coldness.
