Chapter 13
Chapter 13:
“As a matter of fact, Yasmin just texted. She’s waiting for you at your favorite coffee bistro downstairs with one of the candidates. She’s also there with her brother, Oscar Davenport, the CEO of Davenport Group. If you don’t like her, at least you can get a business deal out of her brother.” Uncle Reza looked pleased with himself.
“Uncle, you know I have a full schedule ahead of me p>
“It’s lunchtime; even a busy man like you needs to eat. Come on, Bijan and I have another appointment. You can go meet them. Yasmin had her driver waiting for her. Don’t make your aunt wait p>
I sighed, knowing it would be easier to go along with what they wanted and get it over with. I suppose Uncle Reza was right—at least I’d meet the CEO of Davenport Group.
When I arrived at the location, I saw Aunt Yasmin. At the same time, my eyes darted to the tall man standing next to her. He was handsome, but I quickly shifted my attention to the woman sitting in front of Aunt Yasmin.
The seat next to her was empty. Okay, I had to give it to Aunt Yasmin—she was as sneaky as her husband.
“Ghazi, please sit down. I was just telling them about you,” Aunt Yasmin said, introducing me. I didn’t catch the woman’s name, but I remembered Oscar Davenport. We exchanged business cards, and that’s when I noticed something in his eyes—he was studying me, almost hungrily. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think Oscar was gay and interested in me.
A few moments later, when I excused myself to go to the men’s room, he startled me by following me.
“What are your plans with my sister?” Oscar asked bluntly.
“Um… nothing yet?” I raised an eyebrow in confusion. “Do you not want her to get to know me better p>
“Oh, no… I mean…” That’s when I saw it—he was blushing.
The CEO of Davenport Group was looking at me like he wanted me—badly.
The man was hot and flustered, and suddenly, I found myself wanting him too. Feeling bold, I locked the door behind me. His eyes widened, clearly surprised by my sudden confidence.

“Wh-what are you doing p>
“Oscar,” I stepped closer, trapping him against the marble sink, leaving only inches between us. “Are you jealous p>
“N-no, I’m straight p>
“Uh-huh, so am I.” I moved even closer, pressing my thigh between his legs and casually resting my hands on the edge of the sink, trapping him with my body.
“If I kiss you, will you let me, Oscar?” I whispered in his ear, my lips grazing his cheek as I inhaled the scent of expensive cologne on his neck. “You smell nice.” He didn’t move an inch, but he didn’t push me away either, so I stepped even closer, closing the distance between us. As my leg rubbed against him intimately, Oscar followed my lead, grinding against my thigh. He shuddered, and I knew he wasn’t rejecting me.
That moment confirmed it, and I pressed my lips to his—a soft, gentle kiss, while my hand moved to his waist.
“I’m straight,” he said, pulling back briefly, out of breath.
“Ssh…” I cupped his cheek, deepening the kiss, pushing my tongue past his lips.
The second he moaned, almost whimpered, I knew I had him.
“Your place or mine?” I bit his earlobe, my hand moving between us to cup his erection. “Y-yours, fuck p>
“I’ll text you my address, Oscar, listen to me.” I grabbed his jaw, forcing him to focus on my words. Damn, the man was too hot for his own good.
