Chapter 55
Chapter 55:
Yeah, I was definitely giving him something to remember me by for the rest of the day.
After my shift ended, I went straight back to my place. I took a quick yet thorough shower before packing my overnight bag and heading straight to Leland’s house.
The older man treated me to a fancy takeout dinner. We ate straight from the box since he had run late after his last meeting took longer than expected. He had told me to put my backpack in his room, and now we were sitting on his back porch, watching Princess circle the only tree in the small backyard.
“Have you thought about us since last night?” he asked.
“Not really,” I replied. “That’s why I’m here.
To talk it out. I’m…
This is all new for me. I just got out of a bad relationship with my ex, who’s also my boss. He pimped me out as a sugar baby. You’d be my third, if we decide to go through with whatever it is you’re offering me p>
“Quite an information dump right there, Remy,” he said, wrapping his arm around me and pulling me in closer. “What I’m offering is that you can take this as casually as you’d like. Your ex isn’t here to make you agree to things you’re not comfortable with. I don’t have any kinky preferences, but I’m willing to try anything once. What I’m thinking is, we get to know each other better, and I’d actually like to support you in any way I can in return for your company. Starting with inviting you to live here with me p>
“Whoa…” I murmured, processing his words.
“Or,” he continued, “I can help you pay for your apartment.
Though, I’d kind of prefer being selfish by not driving you back and forth when you could just stay here. Maybe even take a break from working at the bakery? I know it’s not an easy request, but I’m willing to support you. And honestly, that’s what Daddy does, right p>
“And me providing you with sexual pleasure,” I smiled, kissing his stubbled jawline.
“That, too,” he said with a grin. “So tell me, aside from aspiring to be a stand-up employee at the bakery, what else do you like to do?” Follow current novᴇls on
I laughed but decided to tell him about my true passion anyway. “I have a degree in art. I design jewelry. I used to be able to make jewelry based on my designs and sell them online, but with the material costs and time, I just stopped doing it p>

“Well,” he said thoughtfully, “maybe by being with me, you can start doing it again. I only have one condition though: I want us to be exclusive p>
I nodded, already thinking about how I needed to stop hooking up with Bill and Rhys.
“I… my previous daddies were married. I learned that the hard way. I know Jed forced me into being with them, but they were nice in their own way. Still, I should’ve known better. At that time, I just wanted to get away from Jed’s grasp,” I told Leland.
The wives who slapped me and called me names — I told him about the assault and the depression that followed. I needed him to understand that he might not always get the happy-go-lucky Remy. Some days, I still struggled with the guilt and pain that I had caused the wives and their children. Some days, it felt like I needed to punish myself by taking everything the hard way. But then again, I knew that was just my life. It had always felt like I was cursed from the start — the day no one wanted me, the day my birth mother gave me up for adoption.
“You’re young, and you’ll learn from your mistakes,” Leland said, his voice soft. He took me into his lap and kissed away my tears.
“Be my sugar baby, and I promise to take good care of you. I’m very single, and I don’t have any kids aside from Princess p>
“I still don’t understand why you want me. You’re successful, handsome…” I said, unsure.
