Chapter 222
[OLIVIA’s Point of View]
This was the end I never wanted to have.
I would never let Samantha and Dominic have the happy ending they always wanted.
They never deserved it after all the heartbreak and pain they caused me!
“Let go, Killian! I order you to let go of me! Now!” I snarled at the man on top of me, his hands wrapped tight around my neck, and I couldn’t fight back because my feet were severely injured and hadn’t completely healed yet.
“No, Olivia. You have no power over me here! You make me regret helping you there, Olivia!” Killian snarled at me. His eyes were wide with fury as he squeezed my neck tight. “I just want you to f*cking stop all of this! Stop ruining everyone’s lives p>
“How?!” I snarled back at him as warm tears started to stream down the side of my face as I struggled to take his hands off of me. “How can I stop when mine’s completely destroyed, Killian!? Look at me! I am a monster! And Dominic did this to me after everything I did for him! He made me do it p>
“No, Olivia,” Killian’s face somehow softened as he saw the pain and grief on my face. “You did it to yourself! You know that Dominic never loved you, and you still pushed your luck and hoped that he could love you back when you know that will never happen because he is already destined for someone else p>
“Don’t preach to me when you know you are head over heels in love with Samantha, Killian! I know, and I can see in your eyes that you are still in love with her! Don’t you f*cking lie p>
“I don’t know what you are talking about, Olivia p>
I dismissed him with a scoff, then fixed him with a glare as I grinned tauntingly at him, and asked, “Do you believe she will reciprocate your love if you ever succeed in killing me? Do you think she will come back running to your arms when you end the curse that is killing Dominic?” I spat and then continued, “You are delusional if you think Samantha will love you the way you love her, Killian. I feel really bad for Brianne. She’s your mate, and you are doing this to her p>
“Shut up and die, Olivia!” his eyes were burning with hatred, and I didn’t know why, but it brought me a strange satisfaction as I lost all the control I had and laughed maniacally at Killian’s face, making him more pissed off.
“She never cares about you, Killian!” I said to him, despite my struggle to get some air as I felt his hands choking me to death. “She only cares about Dominic. No matter what you do, she will not see you the way you wanted to be seen p>
“You’re wrong. I am not doing this because I want her for myself, Olivia!” Killian answered as he looked down at me with pity in his eyes, which annoyed me. “I am doing this all for her because Samantha deserves all the happiness and all the love that she has been dreaming of p>
“AND I DON’T?!” I roared at him; my eyes were wide with tears.
I had had enough of their b*llsh*t p>
“You’re cursed too, Killian! So let’s go and meet in hell p>
I stabbed Killian with my pointed nails, making my blood enter his body as the poison of the curse got worse inside him. He roared in pain, but he still refused to let go. I stabbed his side so many times, but he remained on top of me until I saw black patches in my vision.
“Let me go, you f*cking bastard—” I screamed at him, clawing, kicking, and pushing him away, but Killian was physically strong, and I was starting to weaken because of the injuries I got from the d*mned wolf guardian.
Killian’s eyes flashed purple and crimson when he moved away from me while clutching the wounds I caused on his side. There was coldness and pain on his face as he stood away from me, looking down on me as if I were the most disgusting creature his eyes had ever laid upon.
“You rot in hell, Olivia. Because I am nothing like you p>
To my horror, Killian lifted me by the collar of my shirt and then threw me at the black mist that came from the old pot jar that I threw on the wolf guardian’s face. The wolf guardian was still struggling as it regenerated back from its injuries, totally forgetting that Killian and I were still there.
Something happened that I never expected.
The black mist that surrounded me started to seep into my wounds as I felt that cold, stabbing pain all over my body, and my eyes widened from the excruciating pain. I couldn’t tell where it came from. It was as if the insides of my body were blazing with invisible fire, and all I could do was scream as blood expelled out of my ears, nose, tear ducts, and mouth. I started to claw at my throat, my chest, and my face, but the pain was there, torturing me like I was being burned alive.
“No! Help me!” I screeched. The cuts I made on my face and neck with my claws started to bleed terribly, causing Killian to step away in shock and fear at what had happened—something he clearly never expected, just as I didn’t!
“SAMANTHA! HELP ME!” I didn’t know why I suddenly screamed for her help, but the pain was blinding. Beyond words, and I was desperate. I never wanted to die yet! Not like this!
So I continued screaming for her, begging for her to stop this: “My father made me do all of this!” I sobbed, cried like I was my seven-year-old self again, both terrified and alone and helpless without anyone to extend their hand to help me from my misery. “He told me I can only survive if I succeed in taking your twins back to the altar! That their blood can cleanse me from the curse! I never wanted this! SAMANTHA p>
But the black mist started to swallow me whole.
It continued until there was nothing left for me to feel.
Until there was only total darkness.
