Cole raised an eyebrow. Moments ago, Elliana had practically begged him to flee to Regal Grove with the children. Something big was clearly brewing, and now he was eager to learn the details.

In an effort to redirect his grandfather’s anger, he replied with feigned bravado. “Don’t worry, Grandfather. I’ll talk to Elliana right away and get to the bottom of this.
