Just like that, Tang Yuchen had permission to stay overnight. Although the room he wanted to sleep in was An Ruo’s, at least he was able to stay the night.

In the community, An Ruo watched them get into the car, waved goodbye, and then got into her own car. As soon as the car left the garage, a man suddenly appeared in front of it.

She stopped the car, and the man stood in front of it, not coming closer. An Ruo opened the door and got out, looking at his silent expression; she remained silent too.

The man pursed his lips and spoke gravely, “I just saw Tang Yuchen leaving from here.”
An Ruo was taken aback, then nodded, “Yes, he was taking Kangkang to his place.”
“These past two days I’ve noticed he’s been staying here,” he added.
An Ruo looked at him in surprise, not expecting that he had been here these two days. The thought of him lingering downstairs for her made her feel uncomfortable.
“He was just staying to help the child with his studies,” she explained flatly, not wanting to elaborate further, “Is there anything else? If not, I’ll be going now.”
Mo Hua looked at her intensely, his face expressionless, “An Ruo, tell me, what does Tang Yuchen have that I don’t? He treats you poorly, I treat you well, why won’t you choose me?”
“Mo Hua, don’t think like that, our breakup wasn’t because of him.”
