An Ruo breathed a sigh of relief. She stood up and respectfully asked Tang Yuchen, “Young Master, do you need anything?”
“Pour me a glass of ice water,” Tang Yuchen said flatly. He sat on the sofa, looking somewhat unwell.

The man, lazily leaning on the sofa, held his forehead with one hand and closed his eyes wearily, “I’m fine.”
“Dad, what’s bothering you?” Kangkang ran to his side, reaching out to touch his forehead.
“So hot!” he exclaimed, quickly turning his head to An Ruo, “Aunt Ruo’an, my dad has a fever.”
“I said I’m fine.” Tang Yuchen’s tone remained indifferent.
An Ruo ignored him; she pulled out a thermometer and popped it into his mouth, “Hold it, don’t move.”
The man helplessly glared at her but obediently took his temperature.
After a few minutes, An Ruo took the thermometer and found the temperature at 36.5℃, which is quite normal; he didn’t have a fever.
Tang Yuchen said blandly, “I told you, I’m fine.”
“But dad’s forehead was so hot just now,” Kangkang frowned in confusion.
An Ruo shook the thermometer again and put it back in his mouth, “Maybe the measurement was incorrect before.”
This time, Tang Yuchen was unwilling; he took out the thermometer and said coldly, “Do I not know if I have a problem? I said I’m fine!”
Tossing the thermometer onto the glass coffee table, he got up to head upstairs.
An Ruo watched his back, silently thinking, “What a bad temper, you’ll know regret when your brain gets fried.”
“Aunt Ruo’an, dad’s forehead was really hot, like…” Kangkang fetched a cup of hot water and handed it to An Ruo.
“Just like this hot.”
An Ruo was shocked; the heat from the cup in her palm was so hot it turned her hand red.
