down next to Suzanne.
He sat rather close, causing Suzanne to shift nervously in her seat as she glanced at the fruit on the
table and then back at him.
“Eat,” he said.
Suzanne obediently picked up a fork and took a piece of pineapple, savoring its sweetness. She
