Mila picked up her utensils, but when she looked at Nathan, he had already finished his entire
breakfast.
Nathan wiped his mouth with a serviette. He murmured, “The food was very delicious.”

discharged from the hospital, so I’m leaving to visit him.”
Mila immediately grew tense as she rested her hands on the tabletop. She said, “I haven’t visited Dan
since he woke up. How is he doing now? Has he recovered well?”
Nathan felt uncomfortable when he saw Mila was worried about Daniel. He asked in return, Do you
want to visit him together with me?”
Mila decisively said, “Of course.” She was here to protect Nathan, so she naturally had to stick close to
him.
Nathan said, “After breakfast, we’ll leave.”

Nathan gulped and slowly helped her up.
He slowly looked away and his voice was hoarse as he said, “Be careful.”
“Thank you, Nate,” Mila breathed out. She nervously stepped back as her cheeks flushed.
“Let’s go,” she said while passing by Nathan. She lowered her head to hide her embarrassment
and walked out.
Nathan adjusted his tie and calmed himself then followed her out.
In the backyard of the Morrison Residence, there was a summerhouse nestled within the
arboretum.
