Jasper opened the passenger door and said courteously, “Let’s get in and head home.”
Imogen smiled. “Okay.”
She clicked her seatbelt into place as she settled into the car. Once Jasper pulled away, he prompted a conversation about Imogen’s parents on their personalities and interests.
“They’re very down-to-earth and easy to get along with. Don’t worry.”
Soon, Jasper’s car entered the
