Kyle had made his intention known, he had a life under his belt and learned the necessary means to defend himself against any potential threat.
He was done with Nakamura and was walking back to his car but Kyle’s eyes were constantly looking around so he wouldn’t be taken unaware.
Kyle knew he was becoming a big deal and it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to think someone could put a hit out on him.
He entertained this possibility but the thought didn’t cripple him with fear, quite the opposite.
This new world he was stepping into was dangerous and had no idea what kind of influence Cleopatra had but it was enough to frighten Nakamura.
This meant that whatever he found during his search was enough to instil the fear of God in him.
Kyle knew Cleopatra was dangerous, she had to be to maintain the wealth she possessed but how dangerous was she?
And how far was she willing to go with Ella getting a chunk of what their parents worked for, there was a high chance that she would begin to see her sister as an enemy.
And that would inevitably put Jane within firing range, something he couldn’t let happen.
Kyle knew it might be time to speak to Cleopatra directly but he had no means to reach her.
Kyle drove to his establishment headed by Nate to see how it was going, it felt like it had been forever since he had seen the man who had become an important part of his plans.
Nate held it down and Kyle couldn’t have asked for a better partner but it was too early to say where Nate’s role would come to an end.
“Kyle! It has been ages!” Nate jumped off his feet but Kyle was surprised he was here.
He never came here without Nate being present begging the question if he was attending his classes.
Kyle had already granted him leave with full pay so he could treat this as a part-time job until he had the time to immerse himself in this line of work.
Nate had recruited an Onlyfan model and Kyle was curious to see how that would work out as it was a niche crowd she appealed to which meant there was potential for it to grow if exposed to a wider audience.

“Nate, I’m glad you are. Things look like they are going well here,” Kyle commended his friend.
Ever since getting the system, his life changed drastically to the point that it almost came to an end.
“What can I say? I like to get things done!” Nate was excited and Kyle could tell this wasn’t an act either.
“Oh right, before I forget. There was someone that came looking for you not too long ago,” Nate said before rummaging through his pockets.
Kyle stood there patiently, waiting for Nate to get whatever it was he was looking for.
“There you are…” Nate muttered under his breath before retrieving a business card.
Kyle collected it and stared at it for a couple of seconds but there was nothing on it.
Just a number and this put him on guard as he still had that warning ringing in his head so he had to be careful not to be caught up in anything that could implicate him.
“You say this came in this morning? Can you tell me what the person looked like?” Kyle questioned.
Nate placed his finger below his chin, trying his hardest to recall any information that might help Kyle but for some strange reason, the person had on a face mask.
That wasn’t necessarily bizarre as there were people who wore them to protect against the environment and weather.
This could be the case and that was exactly what he told Kyle, the man who became not only his superior but friend.
“I see, thank you very much, Nate… I will check this out later, how is Kelly settling in?” Kyle asked about their latest investment.
There had to be some positive step in their business in terms of revenue even though he wished his system would grant him something that would allow him to earn passively.
This would encourage him to put up even more establishments and would reduce the pressure to spend on beautiful women as there would be other means to earn that money.
Kyle looked at the number in his hand before squeezing the card and tossing it away.
Nate noticed this but before they could go any further, Kelly walked in.
This was the first time Kyle was having a good look at her and if he was going to judge a book by its cover.
This was going to be one freaky book but Kyle could sense that Nate liked her enough to hire.
He would never have guessed that Nate was into such girls, to begin with.
“Not bad, Nate… Not bad,” Kyle thought to himself, the girl tried to greet him but Kyle removed himself from their space.
He left Nate alone with her as he had no interest in getting to know her, he already had enough drama as it stood.
And the number he had was etched into his memory.
“What is his problem?” Kelly questioned, rolling her eyes as she thought he was looking down on her due to her line of work.
“Everything… That man is just amazing,” Nate praised his boss but it was almost like he was talking to himself.
“Are you good, sweetheart? It sounds like you’re in love,” Kelly said to which Nate quickly snapped back. He had let his intrusive thoughts out in front of the baddie.
“Hahaha! Of course I do, he is my brother!” Nate doubled down, there was nothing to be ashamed of because this man changed his entire life.
But unknowingly, this made Kelly grow curious about the kind of person he was.
