“H-How?” Eleanor stuttered as she lifted her tail, now covered in a layer of frost, and flicked it toward Zarek.

In an instant, the shadow was struck but the expected result of the shadow being flung backward didn’t happen. Instead, the shadow stood tall, having tightly caught the tail.
“Hupp.”
A deep male voice echoed in the air as he clenched her tail firmly.
Finally, the shadowy figure was gradually revealed to be a young, bulky man with long golden hair and boundless blue pupils.
At this moment, his muscles were taut as he gripped Eleanor’s tail, taking a deep breath and exhaling cold air. Every fiber of his being was active, surging with power.
Then, in one fluid motion, he rotated the tail, right before the stunned eyes of everyone and threw her through the air right at the ground. Eleanor, in a swift arc, crashed to the ground with a loud thud.
A strange, stunned silence filled the skies.
The dragons and the hunched Telekinetic Grandmaster stared wide-eyed at the figure of Zarek, standing atop a sword.
“Is… isn’t he a Level Nine?” the hunched Grandmaster finally muttered, his parched lips barely moving.
It was undeniable and seeing Zarek standing on a sword only made it more certain.
But a Level Nine human flinging a Rank Seven dragon through the air?
If anyone else had told them this, it would’ve been absolutely impossible to believe.
Level Nine humans seemed comparable to Rank Six dragons, but in reality, even dozens of them could barely stand against a single Rank Six. And now, a Level Nine human had flung a Rank Seven dragon into the ground?
The battle between the hunched Telekinetic Grandmaster and the Rank Seven dragons paused for a moment.
Then, it erupted with even more terrifying intensity, all attacks suddenly honed in on the hunched Telekinetic Grandmaster.
“Let’s kill him while we have the chance,” Duke Igris growled with a thunderous dragon roar.
As all the attacks converged, the hunched Telekinetic Grandmaster was on the verge of death, when suddenly, Zarek shot forward and appeared right in front of him, tanking the full brunt of the spell.

A terrifying roar escaped Zarek’s throat as his entire body was engulfed by the devastating barrage.
“Why is this brat helping me?” the hunched Grandmaster murmured, his vision dimming as he listened to Zarek’s scream of pain.
When the attack ended, the four Rank Seven dragons stared at the scene with wary eyes.
Zarek was covered in countless injuries, his skin was charred and blistered, blood oozing from open wounds, and his limbs twisted unnaturally. His eyes had rolled back, leaving only the whites visible, he looked every bit like a corpse.
“Is he dead?” Duke Igris roared, uncertainty lingering in his voice.
“This unknown brat… sacrificed his life to save me?” the hunched Telekinetic Grandmaster whispered, still breathless with disbelief. He rubbed his eyes, then pinched the loose skin of his arm, as if expecting to wake from a hallucination.
Just as resignation began to settle in, Zarek’s fingers gave the faintest twitch.
A hush swept over the dragons.
Zarek’s pupils rolled back revealing his clear, fierce boundless blue pupils.
“You dragons think… you can beat me?” He shouted with a grin.
His scorched skin began to crack like glass struck by a hammer, revealing skin beneath that was even more flawless than before.
His muscles looked as though they had been carved to perfection, sculpted by the very gods themselves.

Numerous blue prompts appeared in front of Zarek.
’Not bad.’ Zarek looked at all of them and nodded in appreciation.

“Come with me,” the frail Telekinetic Grandmaster said, placing his hand firmly on Zarek’s shoulder, his tone stern.
Then, in a blink, he seized Zarek and shot into the sky, the air cracking around them with a thunderous sonic boom as they vanished into the distance.
Zarek let himself be carried, a grin tugging at the corners of his bloodied lips, hidden beneath the rush of wind.
Just as the dragons’ devastating spells were about to descend upon the fleeing pair, a deep, commanding voice echoed through the air:
“Stop.”
The four dragons froze mid-cast and turned. Standing tall before them was a bulky youth with wild crimson hair cascading down his back.
Without protest, the dragons dispersed their spells.
Duke Igris frowned and stepped forward with a voice filled with confusion: “Wouldn’t it be wiser to kill them now?”
“No,” Drayken replied with a calm shake of his head. “Our goal is the Dragon Kingdom. The longer we linger, the more we risk running into trouble. Let’s return.”
“But… but we were so close to killing that Telekinetic Grandmaster, and now we’re letting such a terrifying human go,” Duke Igris said, frustration in his voice.
The other dragons echoed the same sentiment.
It wasn’t every day they had the chance to kill a Telekinetic Grandmaster. No matter the reasoning, letting go of such a powerful foe, especially one who could become an even greater threat in the future, filled them with deep reluctance.
But in the face of Drayken’s command, they still obeyed without question and began their retreat.
Eleanor flew into the air, her dragon eyes bloodshot with fury.
“Where is that bastard!?”
“Let’s return,” Drayken said, shaking his head.
