Clenching her fists, Eileen dug her nails into her palms. The pain was sharp, but her voice was steady.
“Organize a search and rescue team to find him in the sea.”
“Even though he fell into the sea, the explosion’s impact was so severe that it was like hitting solid ground,” Josue said.
Eileen asked, “Then did you manage to find his body?”
Josue didn’t respond.
The sea was vast, deep, and seemingly bottomless.
Even if Bryan were still alive, could he truly survive long enough to be found?
Eileen’s face was pale, and her body seemed frail, but her words, though soft, were filled with determination. “I need to see him, whether he’s alive or dead.”
Eileen mustered all her resources to initiate a search and rescue operation in the sea to find Bryan.
