“Eileen?” Keith’s expression softened when he saw her. “What are you doing here? Is your grandmother not feeling well?”
“No, she’s alright. I’m here to visit a friend,” Eileen replied, shaking her head with a smile.
“What brings you here?”
Keith’s smile dimmed slightly. He sighed and said, “My wife is unwell and recovering here. But it’s nothing too serious. No need to worry.”
Despite his words, Eileen could see the lingering concern in his eyes.
“By the way, I heard VQ Group has run into some trouble lately and is planning to file a lawsuit,” Keith said. “I’ve been tied up at the hospital and haven’t had a chance to look into it thoroughly. What’s the full story?”
Eileen took a moment to collect her thoughts before explaining. “Conroy impersonated a VQ Group manager and arranged for the Byrd family to contract the site to him. He then took the money and disappeared, leaving the workers demanding payment.”
Eileen observed Keith closely as she spoke. Once Keith grasped the situation, he advised, “This is indeed a problem. If you can’t provide evidence that Conroy took the money and ran, you’ll have to pay the workers yourself. Otherwise, VQ Group’s reputation will suffer.”
“Yes, I get your point,” Eileen replied. “I’ve gathered evidence that Conroy impersonated a VQ Group manager, and I’m planning to file a lawsuit. As for the Byrd family… They haven’t supported Conroy?” She cautiously mentioned the Byrd family.

Watching him leave, Eileen took a moment to think before slowly making her way out of the hospital. Once she got into her car, she immediately called Bryan.
“I’m worried that my identity might have been inadvertently exposed to the Aston family,” she said.
If it wasn’t Keith who had helped Conroy, then it had to be another member of the Aston family. The only one who might have a motive to cause trouble for her was Kamila.
