Chapter 955
Even Gabriela noticed this, pointing at them and then at herself.
“Mine is different…”
“We’re adults, and you’re a child, Gabriela. That’s why it’s different,” Bryan explained, scooping her up. He then grasped Eileen’s wrist, leading them out of the dressing room.
The trio made for a picturesque scene, drawing admiring glances from onlookers. As the stable hands brought out their chosen horses, Bryan passed Gabriela to Eileen.
“The pony can only walk in that open area,” he said. “An employee will accompany Gabriela to ensure her safety. You can take Gabriela there. I’ll try out this horse.”
Confident in the pony’s docile nature and the presence of the stable hand, Bryan felt at ease leaving Eileen and Gabriela to enjoy their adventure while he explored on his own mount.
The black horse was unlike the others. Though tamed, it occasionally displayed a violent temper. Bryan knew he had to test it alone.
Meanwhile, Eileen guided Gabriela to the open space, carefully placing her on the white pony. The stable hand secured the safety ropes and led the pony in a gentle circle.
“Let’s go!” Gabriela exclaimed, patting the pony’s back and repeating the phrases Bryan had taught her.
Eileen’s face lit up with a smile as she captured the joyful scene on her phone.
Jessica emerged from the dressing room, her dreadlocks swinging. Her face fell as she spotted Eileen.
“What rotten luck,” she muttered. “Why did I have to run into her here?”

“Who are you talking about?” A woman in a striking red riding suit joined her, her hair elegantly coiled in a bun, exuding maturity and allure.
“Who else could it be?” Jessica replied, her voice tinged with disdain. “It’s that woman who swooped in from nowhere and claimed the family fortune that should have been mine. Oh, by the way, I heard from my parents that her father is your father.”
Tilda Aston froze, her eyes narrowing as they locked onto Eileen, who was standing not far away.
The morning sun bathed Eileen in a golden glow. She looked like she was in her twenties.
“Tilda, her husband isn’t just rich, he’s handsome as well. Just look at their daughter. She’s got Eileen’s features, but even the parts that don’t resemble Eileen are perfect. Bryan’s the most handsome man I’ve ever laid eyes on,” Jessica continued, her voice thick with envy.
Despite her jealousy, Jessica felt compelled to praise Eileen, remembering Gianna’s words.
Noticing Tilda’s silence, Jessica touched her arm. “Listen, we’ve known each other for years. Take my advice—secure as much money as you can now. If you don’t, your father might give it all to Eileen, leaving you with nothing.”
Tilda’s eyes flashed with anger. “What nonsense are you spouting? My father would do that!”
Raised abroad, Tilda was accomplished in various artistic pursuits. Only six months younger than Eileen, she had already earned her doctorate overseas. Upon returning home, she found herself mingling with a crowd of fresh graduates, including the much younger Jessica. Her foreign education was evident in her accent, though her features clearly marked her heritage.
“I’m telling you the truth,” Jessica said. “Even if Eileen doesn’t want it, your brother will get the Aston family’s fortune. You won’t be able to get a penny.”
