Eileen turned to see the commotion before Terrell, observing the crowd.

She offered a slight smile and turned her attention away, moving closer to Bryan to murmur, “Who has the Aston family sent to the party today?”
“Kamila is here, along with her daughter-in-law, Jaliyah,” Bryan whispered back, leaning in so close that his breath brushed her ear.
Eileen stepped away quickly and frowned at him, her lips pursed in mock annoyance.
“What are you doing?”
The Byrd family had assigned two servants to search the guests alongside Bernice. Although the Byrd family wasn’t particularly famous or powerful, they had strong foundations and extensive connections, making them a family no one wished to cross.

Terrell paused briefly before responding, “I would only feel at ease if you were the one to escort her to the bathroom. Please go with her.”

She entered a stall and was about to shut the door when Eileen stopped her.
“Please leave the door open, or I won’t be able to vouch for you.”
Kamila’s expression turned sour.
“Are you planning to watch me use the bathroom?”
“I don’t mind watching,” Eileen responded firmly.
“You…” Kamila pointed at Eileen and then lowered her hand forcefully. “After I’m done, you can come in and search.”
“Even if I search after you’ve finished and find the jade seal, you could deny everything. I need to find the jade seal on you,” Eileen said with a shrug.
