356 Pain and pleasure (7)
After fooling around on the floor, Alessandra did need to take a rest. She laid on the bed right after, falling asleep for more than an hour to regain her energy. She woke up to the sight of Edgar sitting by the table in their room, sipping on wine and eating fruit he must have gotten himself from the kitchen.
He wasn’t naked like she remembered when she had fallen asleep. Now he wore shorts but his chest was still bare.
“What time is it?” Alessandra yawned, covering her mouth with her hand. “I hope I have not wasted your day.”
Edgar placed his glass of wine down on the table and looked at Alessandra. “You have not. It is just a few hours after noon. If you are still tired you can continue to rest. Making love to you an entire day didn’t mean every minute or hour. We are just making use of the house being vacant. Well, except for the dungeon which is occupied by my mother.”
“I wish you hadn’t mentioned your mother is here while we are doing this. My mind would have been better not remembering her,” Alessandra muttered.
She crawled from the top of the bed to where Edgar sat to try some of what he was drinking and eat the fruit. “Did you cut the apples yourself?” She asked.
“I said that I cannot cook, not that I cannot cut fruit with a knife. It is no different than cutting up someone,” Edgar replied.
“I am learning so much about you in this one moment-Wait!’ Alessandra exclaimed when he pulled her onto his lap. “A warning would be nice and it is not fair that you are dressed while I am not. My body feels sticky which means I need to wash up. Why can’t I have any?” She asked because Edgar pushed the wine out of her reach.
“It is time you stop consuming anything with alcohol for a while just as a precaution. I will buy you drinks that are without alcohol. There is a chance you could be pregnant from the first time we made love or from today. We need to be more careful.”

“Oh,” Alessandra realized. She did hear that pregnant women refrained from drinking alcohol. They had a while to wait until they would learn if she was pregnant by little signs doctors created a list of. Even if she wasn’t pregnant, Alessandra didn’t mind lowering how much wine she drank. “Then I will stick to the fruit,” she took up a slice of a red apple.
“You can take all of it with you and enjoy a warm bath,” Edgar said as there was something he wanted to prepare in the bedroom but he had to wait because she was fast asleep.
He didn’t buy the whips and other things just for them to go to waste. He was saving it for a bit later but found it was time they added something new rather than finding new places to have sex. Edgar needed her gone for a moment to lay them out. He planned to give Alessandra all the pain and pleasure she clearly liked.
He doubted she would be against what he had bought since he saw a new side today with her when it came to their intimacy. Alessandra was bolder and did as she pleased to enjoy herself.
Alessandra was suspicious of why Edgar wanted her out of the room but still took up the plate of fruit and walked to the bathroom. She would not believe it yesterday if anyone told her that she would be able to walk around naked in front of Edgar with a plate of fruit in her hands.
Her shyness had vanished as he thoroughly loved all of her mind and body today. Edgar had reassured her many times and she felt it when they made love that she didn’t need to be insecure and hide.
Edgar waited until she closed the bathroom door behind her to get up and go to the closet where he had hidden most of what he bought. Never before would he imagine going into one of those shops but now he considered investing in them. The town was missing out if they were not being adventurous with their sex life but then again, none of them had a lover like Alessandra by their side.
Edgar returned to the bed with two bags in his arms. The first items he pulled out were the various shapes and sizes of whips. It was harder than he imagined to just pick one so he bought them all. One shouldn’t think about money when it came to spoiling yourself for your birthday.
He knew Alessandra would make his ears sore if she learned how much money he spent on these items even though money wasn’t an issue for them. Though he would like her to, Edgar knew Alessandra would never visit those kinds of shops so she would never learn of how much money he spent.
One by one, Edgar laid the items which could be considered toys for married couples down on the bed to give Alessandra options for what she would be comfortable with. All he had to do now was wait for her to return.
Three minutes later, Alessandra exited the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her. She didn’t make it too far out before her eyes went to the ropes tied around the pillars of the bed. Her heart rate quickened from both anticipation and nervousness. She recalled Edgar wanting to tie her up but it was her understanding those things would happen later on.
Alessandra silently watched Edgar approach her with a look that created a familiar sensation between her legs. The room was darker now because he had blocked the windows and the only light was coming from the fireplace.
“Edgar,” she called his name but the rest of her words were silenced by his lips.
Edgar lifted her, not bothered that he became wet from touching her, and placed her down on the soft bed. He distracted her with the kiss while he reached out for the rope he would tie around her hands.
