Chapter 51
Chapter 51:
The simple pleasure of frotting, skin against skin, was overwhelming. I was breathless when I finally climaxed, and he groaned moments later, his release mixing with mine.
“Damn, baby, you’re so irresistible,” he murmured, collapsing beside me, leaving my stomach a sticky mess. Nᴇw ɴovel chaptᴇrs are published on.net
I woke up from a short nap to find Rhys entering the bedroom. Bill had taken care of me earlier, noticing how exhausted I was. He had let me rest by his side while we waited for Rhys to return. I hadn’t meant to fall asleep, but the bakery had been understaffed, and I hadn’t taken a day off in weeks. I couldn’t afford to leave the job without something else lined up, so I’d been working extra hours. Now, my body was feeling the strain.
“Are you sure about going dancing tonight? We could stay in and go clubbing another night,” Rhys suggested, leaning down to kiss me. He had just stepped out of the shower, his damp body wrapped in a towel that hung low on his hips, looking effortlessly sexy.
“I’m sure,” I replied, smiling up at him. “I haven’t been out clubbing in months. If I get tired, I’ll just sit by the bar. Besides, Bill promised I’d be sandwiched between you two, and I don’t want to miss that.” I grinned, and Rhys laughed, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
Being with them was easy, natural, and filled with warmth. Yet, I kept reminding myself not to get too attached. I knew it wouldn’t last forever. My heart was still healing from the pain Daniels had caused and the disappointment Marx had left behind.
Two hours later, we arrived at a trendy gay club I’d never been to before.
The line outside was long, but Bill effortlessly got us in, bypassing the crowd waiting to enter. We started at the bar, sipping drinks before heading to the dance floor.
True to his word, Bill kept me between them as we danced. We laughed, our bodies moving together in a way that felt electric and intimate. For the first time in a long while, I felt desired, cherished.
After about an hour, I stepped back, feeling the need for another drink.
“Don’t go far, come back soon!” Rhys called out from the dance floor, his voice barely audible over the music. I laughed, feeling light and carefree as I made my way to the bar. It had been too long since I’d felt this unburdened, this happy.
“You and your friends seem to be having a good time,” a voice commented beside me. I turned to see an older man, dressed as if he’d come straight from work. His eyes lingered on me, and I offered a polite smile, unsure of how to respond.

He looked friendly and harmless enough that I decided to let him buy me a drink when he offered.
His name was Leland and he had just had a tough day at work and decided to watch people dance while drinking a few beers. “Beats drinking alone at home.” He shrugged and I smiled at his admission.
“You don’t dance p>
“No? I have two left feet, I’d feel sorry for my dancing partner.” Leland deadpanned.
The man made me laugh, he was proving to be good company, so I decided to sit on the empty stool next to him.
“Remy, are you tired, baby?” Bill kissed me on the lips while Rhys ordered their drinks. I introduced them to Leland and they both jumped right into conversation with the guy. “So you’re all friends, like in a poly relationship?” Leland asked as Rhys wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed me on the lips.
“We’re friends,” Bill explained, “with benefits,” he added with a playful wink as I rolled my eyes at them and they both laughed. Leland seemed amused by our dynamic, taking another sip of his beer before ordering another and offering us all another round of drinks. After another drink I excused myself to go to the toilet. Bill and Rhys were gone by the time I got back to my seat, while Leland was still nursing his almost empty pint. I felt my phone buzz with an incoming text and decided to read it, thinking it might be one of the guys.
