Chapter 204
‘I can’t believe it… I’m still so young, and now my life’s about to end at the bottom of some crappy cliff in the middle of nowhere. I never even got the chance to settle down, build a career, or have a girlfriend. What a joke, he sobbed inwardly
‘Dad, I won’t be there to take care of you in your old age,‘ he thought, grief welling up inside him.
‘If there’s anything like fate or spirits watching over us, I’ll bless you to live a long, healthy life. Maybe you’ll even have another son. But next time… Next time, I don’t want to be your son again. You’re way too stingy!‘ he grumbled in his heart.
‘I want to be born as the son of a billionaire. No, wait, Sienna. After I die, I want to reincarnate as your Sianna, so I can be born with a silver spoon in my mouth,‘ he thought, a hint of desperate humor flickering through his despair.
“Ah!” Leo screamed as both his legs were suddenly stabbed by a knife. Before he could even react, someone yanked his hair from behind and dragged him backward.
“Who’s there? Who are you?” Leo shouted in terror, flailing his arms, but he couldn’t reach the person behind him.
Then, like a ragdoll, he was tossed to the ground by Sienna.
Josef’s eyes, full of despair, suddenly snapped open. ‘It was Sienna! Mom!‘ he thought, his heart pounding with relief.
‘Wait, I’m not dead yet,‘ he thought to himself in surprise.
“Sienna!” Josef bawled, tears and snot streaming down his face as he crawled toward her, rubbing his face against the ground like a lost child.
Sienna stepped up to check on Josef’s condition. With just a look from her, Reno pressed his knife right up against Leo’s
throat.
“The antidote,” Sienna demanded coldly. Leo didn’t even get a chance to ask who they were. He could feel death’s grip tightening around his neck.
Leo’s eyes went wide with terror as he swallowed hard. “You… Who are you people? What antidote? I have no idea what you’re talking about! Let me go! I’m Leo…”
“Ah!” Before he could finish, Reno stabbed his knife right through Leo’s palm, not hesitating for a second. Blood gushed
out instantly.
Leo screamed in agony, sweat pouring down his face, his mind reeling from the pain. He was so scared now, he didn’t even
dare to move a muscle.
He quickly shouted, “It’s in my pocket! The antidote is in my pocket! Let me go, please.”
Reno Lynch fished a syringe out of Leo’s pocket and handed it over to Sienna.
Sienna injected Josef with the antidote, and in no time, he could feel his arms and legs moving
His weakness vanished.
“Thank you, Sienna. If you hadn’t shown up today, I’d be dead meat.” Josef blubbered, his voice choked with tears.

Chapter 204
He scrambled up, wiping his face with his sleeve, snot and tears everywhere. Man, it felt amazing to be alive after all that He’d actually survived.
‘See? I knew it. I’m way too young to die with so many regrets,‘ he thought, relief washing over him.
Sienna reached out and handed him a handkerchief. “Here, clean yourself up.”
Even as a grown man, he couldn’t handle things as well as Winifred, crying his eyes out, face all red and scrunched up, gasping for air. Honestly, he looked kind of pitiful… and, weirdly enough, a little cute.
“Okay, Sienna, thank you.” Josef sniffled, his eyes rimmed with red. Right now, his admiration and gratitude for Sienna were through the roof.
“Sienna, that bastard Leo swapped out the ZS serum!” Josef said, his voice still trembling but anger flaring up. After pulling himself together, he marched over to Leo and stomped hard on his hand. “Speak! Where is it?”
Leo was drenched in sweat, his face ghostly pale. The agony in his legs and the stabbing pain in his palm were excruciating. He felt like he was about to pass out from the torment.
Clenching his teeth, he shouted, “I sold it! I sold it, I swear! I already handed it over. It’s not with me anymore.”
It was half true, half false. As long as he could get out of here, there was still hope for him.
‘Revenge is a dish best served cold,‘ Leo thought, clinging to the hope that he’d get his chance someday.
‘Just you wait, Josef, and you two as well!‘ Leo seethed inwardly, hatred burning in his chest.
Sienna shot him a careless glance, a trace of mockery flickering in her eyes. ‘So desperate to hide the truth? Fine, I’ll give you a chance,‘ she thought.
Josef kicked Leo a few more times, cursing, “Leo, are you even human? How could you do this? That was ours. You’ve got a death wish!”
Sienna stepped in and stopped him. “Let’s go.”
