Facing so many reporters and live cameras, Aiden spoke with unwavering resolve. “I am not being held captive by my daughter. Fye been struggling with mental health issues for years.

“Work at the company always took precedence, leaving me no time for treatment. Now that Sienna is back, I can finally let go of everything and focus on my recovery.

“She loves me deeply and always puts me first. I’m not sure why Mr. Winslow brought you all here today, but I will never speak ill of my daughter.” 

Hearing this, Henry froze, his eyes suddenly widening in shock. He grabbed Aiden by the collar, his voice trembling with rage.

“What the hell are you talking about, Aiden? You’re obviously being held here by that bitch Sienna. You’re not sick at all.” Henry shouted furiously.

Aiden pried his hand off, looking completely confused. “I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about. You brought all these people here. I’m just as shocked as you are.

“I really don’t get what you’re trying to do. As for whether I’m sick or not, my attending doctor can answer that for you.”

As Aiden spoke, a female doctor in a white coat stepped out, pushing up her glasses. “Mr. Hart is receiving treatment under my

care. 

“I can only give you a general idea of his condition. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Please don’t agitate the patient. His condition is still unstable.”

The sudden change in topic caught the reporters and media off guard. They couldn’t react in time and wondered, “This is nothing Like what we were told. What’s really going on here?”

But since Aiden had already admitted to having a mental illness, everyone turned their cameras on Henry.

“Mr. Winslow, what’s really going on here? Could you tell us exactly why the whole thing flipped upside–down?”

“Yeah, Mr. Hart is clearly here for treatment, not being held captive like you claimed. Mr. Winslow, Mr. Hart didn’t even know about this interview today. Didn’t you say Mr. Hart asked you to handle this?”

“Under Miss Enna’s leadership, the Hart Corporation has become a legend here in Vallaris. I heard your company is on the verge of bankruptcy. Are you doing this out of jealousy? Trying to drag Hart Corporation down with you?”

“Mr. Winslow’s company went bankrupt just a few days ago, and Winslow Group isn’t what it used to be. Word is, you went after Miss Enna at Hart Corporation, and that’s what brought you down. Is that why you brought us here, to target Miss Enna?”

“Mr. Winslow, can you give us a straight answer to our questions?” 

“Mr. Winslow, what exactly is your purpose in doing all this?”

“Is it because your daughter was imprisoned for intentional homicide? Are you still holding a grudge over that?”

“Mr. Winslow, would d you mind answering a few questions for us?”

The questions came one after another, and Henry was on the verge of fleeing. He glared at Aiden with pure hatred.

Chapter 216

His face turned livid with rage as Henry spat out, “Alden, you are such a coward. You’re nothing but a piece of trash, spineles gutless, just a pathetic loser afraid of dying. You turned the tables on me.”

He continued, “Aiden, you’re just a kept man living off a woman. Without Selina, who the hell would you be? You fucking deserve to be nothing but a stand–in, a replacement.

“Selina would rather die than be with you. In her eyes, you’re nothing.”

The more Henry spoke, the more worked up he got, blurting out everything from the past and venting all his bitterness and

resentment.

Aiden lowered his gaze, a look of deep sadness appearing on his elegant and distinguished face. Even the female doctor couldn’t help but feel sorry for him, let alone the female reporters, who were even more moved.

Aiden was already in his forties, no longer a young man, but his looks and physique were truly exceptional. He was the very picture of a dashing, impeccably dressed gentleman.

“That’s enough. My patient needs to rest. Please leave,” the female doctor said. She ordered the security guards to clear everyone

out.

Aiden was still trapped in his own emotions. Henry’s words had dragged up memories he wished he could bury forever.
