xero led the group to the front door, discovering the injured woman who had been part of the group that chased them earlier. She was from Graystone Castle, and Caitlin had mentioned that this woman had spared her life twice before. But now, why was the badly wounded, lying at the doorstep of his home?
No matter the reason, Xero quickly arranged for her to be sent to the hospital for treatment.
He immediately informed Catlin and Sebastian about the situation. Caitlin was surprised to hear that Zinnia, her former mentor, had been injured. “What? You’re telling me she’s lying there wounded at The O’Malley Family’s doorstep?”
“Yes, I don’t know why she’s here, but I’ve already arranged for her to be taken to the hospital
“Alright, let me know if there’s any progress.”
After hanging up, Caitlin and Sebastian discussed the matter.
“Do you think Zinnia got injured after falling her mission and was hurt by Zorro ? ” Sebastian asked.
“It’s very possible,” he nodded.
“Do you think she came here, dragging herself through the pain, just to warn us?”
“We’ll find out once she wakes up. For now, we can’t really judge why she was at The O’Malley Family’s doorstep. We can’t concern ourselves
too much with it. My men are on their way, and we’ll head back to the US tomorrow”
Sebastian was cautious. Their quick arrival in S Country had meant they didn’t bring any extra manpower, and the situation had turned a little precarious. For now, the priority was to ensure their own safety.
Zinnia was taken to the Link City hospital, where doctors performed several hours of treatment. The bullet was removed, and her life was
saved.
The O’Malley Family’s servants reported the news to Xero, who instructed them to keep an eye on the injured woman.

After a long flight, Sebastian and Caitlin finally returned to the US, where Tyler and Xavi were waiting to greet them at the airport.

Xavi had heard about their ordeal in 5 Country and had been worried sick. He had intended to travel with Sebastian, but Sebastian had stopped him, and now this had happened.
“We’re fine, we’ll talk later,” Sebastian said as he helped Caitlin into the car, and they made their way back to The Vanderbilt Family
Back at the manor, Sebastian helped Caitlin to bed and made sure she rested.
The children, hearing that their parents were back, ran to greet them. Bruce, Arthur, Howard, and little Patricia were all there, visibly upset that their mother had been injured.

“We’ve all been deceived,” Sebastian said.
After hearing the full story, both Bruce and Arthur were furious. They now held Shadow Moon Pavilion in contempt, and anyone who hurt their mother would not be forgiven.
Caitlin stayed at The Vanderbilt Family to recover. Eliza and Beatrice came to visit her, reminding the staff to take good care of her.
Vincent, having heard the news, also came to see her. “Is everything alright, Second Sister–in–Law?”
“I’m fine, don’t worry.”
Vincent turned to Sebastian. “By the way, Sebastian, you missed yesterday’s car race. You’ll have to wait for the next one.”
“Doesn’t matter,” Sebastian replied. He had agreed to race because of Zeke’s challenge, but now that Zeke had been accidentally injured, and they had faced so many dangers, the race no longer seemed important.
What mattered now was that Caitlin needed to recover, and he was determined to stay by her side and care for her.
