Caitlin had become accustomed to lighting through hardships, and getting Injured was nothing new to her.
She shook her head, resolute. “A few bruises are nothing! Compared to freedom, It doesn’t matter. Besides, you shot Zeke too when you
fired . ”

Sebastian hadn’t even noticed the man lying on the ground earlier. All he saw was someone trying to kill Caitlin, not realizing it was Zeke who
had intervened .
“He sacrificed himself to save me , killing one of the protectors before getting shot.”
“I never expected that!”
Sebastian was shocked. He had thought that after Caitlin broke ties with Shadow Moon Pavilion, Zeke would turn against her, but instead, he
had risked his life for her. It seemed his feelings for Caitlin were much deeper than Sebastian had realized.
“He fought against Shadow Moon Pavilion for you … So , do you think about him?”
“No, it’s just that I owe him another favor
Caitlin couldn’t develop romantic feelings for Zeke. Her heart already had no room for anyone else.
“If I had been with you from the start, I wouldn’t have let them hurt you like this”
Sebastian blamed himself for not being with her, leaving her to bear so much alone.

The six instructors all apologized.
Just then, a subordinate came in with news, “Leader, we’ve reviewed the surveillance footage and confirmed that those two, although dressed in Shadow Moon Pavilion uniforms, are not our people.”
Zorro watched the footage closely and recognized the man. “It’s Sebastian! I didn’t expect him to dare infiltrate my castle!”
Zorro’s eyes narrowed with malice . He was certain that the reason Caitlin had turned against Shadow Moon Pavilion was because of this man, Sebastian
“Now, Trinity has been rescued by Sebastian. She’s definitely still in 5 Country. I want all six of you to move out immediately! We must eliminate Sebastian and capture Trinity alivel
Shadow Moon Pavilion’s spies were everywhere in 5 Country. It wouldn’t take long to find Sebastian and Caitlin
They traced Caitlin’s movements to the Link City hospital, and following that lead, they tracked down where she and Sebastian had been
staying in Link City
“ Prepare for action!”
“At the private residence, a knock on the door.“”
Sebastian opened it to find Xero standing there with his men. “Boss, I’ve received word from my men. It seems the Graystone people have already been to the hospital investigating. They’ll likely find us soon. It’s not safe here, you need to leave with your wife!”
Sebastian thought quickly. He knew very well that since he had broken into Graystone Castle with Xero, rescued Caitlin, and injured Zeke,
Zorro wouldn’t just let it slide. This was 5 Country, Shadow Moon Pavilion’s territory, and Zorro wouldn’t tolerate Sebastian taking Caitlin
“We need to leave right now!”
Sebastian rushed back to the room where Caitlin was resting after taking her medicine, still in a deep sleep. He didn’t wake her but instead wrapped her in the blankets and carried her out of the room,

got into the car Xero had prepared, and Caitlin groggily woke up, realizing she was in a car . “Sebastian, what’s going on?”
“It’s nothing. Our whereabouts might have been exposed. Xero’s taking us to a safe place.”
Caitlin didn’t ask further, but just as the car began to drive off, a gunshot rang out, and the car window shattered with a hole.
Sebastian immediately shielded Caitlin, pulling her into his embrace.
“This is bad!”
Xero cursed as he slammed his foot on the gas, quickly speeding away.
Behind them, three cars from Shadow Moon Pavilion’s men followed , firing at Xero’s car for cover. One of their cars was hit , its tire blown out , and it flipped into the side barrier.
There were still two cars remaining, and they engaged in an intense firefight, bullets flying.

But then, two of the cars split off, taking alternate routes to try to intercept Xero’s car. Xero drove fast, but suddenly , a car shot out of a nearby alley and sped toward them. Xero swerved the wheel just in time, narrowly avoiding a collision , sparks flying as their car brushed past the other vehicle.
That car failed to intercept Xero, but the other car continued its pursuit, nearly matching Xero’s speed,
Caitlin could see the instructor sitting in the car through the window, the gun aimed directly at Xero.
Without hesitation, Caitlin grabbed the weapon from Sebastian’s hand , almed, and fired.
One shot hit the instructor in the passenger seat.
The instructor fell, his car swerving, and in those few precious seconds, Xero managed to shake them off.
“Nice shot…” Xero grinned, visibly relieved, as Caitlin had just eliminated their immediate danger.
But the danger wasn’t over. Xero’s men were almost all wiped out, and the remaining three vehicles, driven by the instructors, were closing in
again
The chase intensified as the cars raced down the streets of Link City.
Sebastian wasn’t idle either. He pulled out a weapons box from under the seat and quickly assembled a gun,
The car was being shot at relentlessly from behind . Sebastian opened the window and took aim at the vehicle behind the
One shot shattered their rear windshield, and the car rocked .
Sebastian fired twice more, hitting a tire on the rear vehicle, causing it to yeer off course and crash into the side of the road.
One car was taken out, but two remained. They were now at a safe distance but still firing relentlessly.
“Xero, get them to the uninhabited zone!” Sebastian shouted. “We need to take them all out!”
