Jericho Kane’s eyes widened with a sudden, terrified fury as he swung his arm, the back of his hand striking Scarlett so fiercely her teeth scattered across the polished marble floor like dice thrown from a gambler’s desperate hand.
Her slender body hit the ground hard, crumpling like a discarded doll.
“I apologize deeply, Mr. Alex,” Jericho stammered, volce quivering with dread.
“Scarlett’s my niece, reckless and foolish-doesn’t know when to shut that venomous mouth of hers. Trust me, I’ll teach her proper manners p>
Jericho trembled, fearful Alex would ignite like dynamite, setting off an explosion of rage fueled by his kidnapped friend.
Scarlett, blood dripping from her broken mouth, glared defiantly Jericho, opening her lips to protest.
But before a single word slipped free, Jericho exploded into savage action, kicking her face mercilessly.
“Can’t you keep that poisonous trap shut for a single goddamn second p>
“Relax, Kane,” Alex drawled coldly, disdain dripping from his every word. “I don’t kick a barking dog p>
He climbed aboard the waiting helicopter without another glance, as if stepping over trash.
Jericho bowed deeply, relief washing over him like cold rain.
“Safe travels, Mr. Alex. I’ll pray for your success.

The helicopter ascended sharply, leaving Jericho alone with Scarlett, fury still blazing in his eyes.
“Listen closely, girl,” he growled, “you can insult him, look down on him, or even bed him for all I care. But never, ever do it again in front of me p>
Scarlett stared up, wide-eyed with fear, nodding meekly. “Understood p>
“Good,” Jericho growled, his voice like gravel and venom.
“If you’re hellbent on dying, go dig your own grave somewhere far from me. I’m not explaining your sorry corpse to your mother. But listen close-don’t you ever drag me into trouble with that monster again p>
“Yes, Uncle,” Scarlett murmured, wincing from the pain throbbing through her shattered teeth and bleeding nose.
Rage smoldered in her chest like wildfire-raw, bitter fury aimed squarely at Alex. That drunken nobody had somehow provoked Jericho Kane enough to land a hit her-something no one had dared or managed to do in five damn years.
And now, because of Alex, that streak was broken. Just like that.
“I swear, Alex,” she whispered venomously to the empty air, “I’ll savor every second I spend killing you. You’ve cost me dearly today, and I’ll repay you tenfold p>
The instant Jericho vanished, Scarlett snatched up her phone, eyes blazing with malicious intent.
“Owen,” she snarled, voice sharp and urgent. “That drunken idiot’s flying your way. Rally your men and crush him p>
Owen laughed cruelly, his voice dark with anticipation. “Don’t fret, Scarlett. Neither he nor his woman will leave my hotel alive. I’ll have my fun first, though-she’s a beauty, too tempting to resist p>
Scarlett’s laugh was a wicked melody of vengeance. “Don’t waste time-rape her before he gets there. Let him find her already

“He’ll arrive in thirty minutes? Plenty of time to make her scream
Scarlett ended the call with a sinister grin, looking to the heavens with seething hatred. “How dare you make me suffer. Now you’ll die miserably p>
Her eyes suddenly sparkled with wicked inspiration.
Henry Dupont was already dead-Alex’s doing-but someone else would surely be eager to avenge him.
Scarlett quickly dialed a phone, smiling viciously as a voice picked up.
“Want revenge for Henry Dupont? I know exactly where his killers headed p>
At the luxurious Skyview Hotel, Owen lounged arrogantly, oblivious to the true danger Alex posed.
To him, Alex was merely a frightened drunk doctor, easy prey.
Only five bodyguards stood by casually, bored and unprepared for any serious threat.
“Take the woman,” Owen ordered carelessly, flicking a dismissive hand. “Rape her. Enjoy yourselves p>
“Sir,” a bodyguard hesitated, caution flickering in his eyes. “Won’t harming her compromise our leverage p>
Owen’s slap cracked across the guard’s face like a whip.
“Coward! He was already dead the moment he stepped in here-she’s nothing but
an appetizer. Now go! I’m giving you the chance to enjoy her, so you’d better thank me p>
“Thank you, sir,” the bodyguard said with a bow.
“No!” Josephine cried desperately, wrists chained, helpless as the guard dragged
her away.
“You’re all dead men- -Alex will slaughter every last one of you p>
The door slammed shut, muffling her fierce struggle.
Furniture shattered, screams rang out, piercing the luxurious silence.
Owen smiled viciously, savoring her torment.
“She’s a wildcat,” he chuckled darkly.
“I’ll tame her personally once you’re done p>
Gradually, Josephine’s fierce screams faded into broken sobs.
When the door reopened, her tear-streaked face was defiant yet shattered, eyes promising revenge.
“All of you will burn,” she spat venomously.
“I’ll relish watching each of you writhe in agony. You have no idea who you’ve crossed p>
The bodyguard struck her again, silencing her briefly. “Shut your mouth unless you want more,” he threatened coldly.
Owen’s eyes raked over Josephine’s tattered clothes with a twisted gleam of lust, his smile cruel and cold.
“So… how was she?” he asked, voice low and mocking.
“Fiery,” the guard smirked.
“Good. Strip her,” Owen commanded, eyes gleaming sadistically. “Dance for me p>
Josephine trembled, tears streaking down her cheeks, yet she stepped forward slowly, eyes darting desperately.
Owen’s laughter filled the penthouse, echoing mockingly.

Owen’s skull, blood spurting dramatically.
He roared in rage, blood streaming down his shocked face.
“You damn bitch!” Owen roared, clutching his head like the madness might split it
open.
“I’ll have every one of them rape you until there’s nothing left to scream with! Dead or alive-you’ll be nothing but a broken toy p>
Josephine sobbed, eyes wild, and without another word, hurled herself through
the open window, choosing death over dishonor, her body disappearing into the
