“Alright, i should head back tool” Phoebe replied, picking up her bag and getting ready to leave. But just as they were about to leave, Phoebe muddenly turned to Caitlin and Wendy.
“By the way, I have something to tell you both,” she said.
“What is it?” Caitlin asked as she stood up.
“Well, our university alumni are having a reunion soon, and since you two are back, don’t forget to come! I’ll let you know the time and place later, okay?”
Seeing them both silent, Phoebe added, “I’m in charge of organizing, and it’s happening during NYU’s 100th anniversary celebration, so all the alumni are coming back to meet up. Our class can’t be left out! I need you to support me a little, alright? ”
Phoebe had been the class rep and event organizer during school, and after graduation, she had continued organizing gatherings, Caitlin had dropped out early and hadn’t spent much time at university, so she didn’t really need to attend the reunion. But Phoebe’s invitation clearly had a different purpose.
Phoebe probably wanted to take the opportunity to talk more with Caitlin, to learn more about her past with Sebastian.

“Alright, if Caitlin’s going, I’ll go!” Wendy finally agreed, looking at Caitlin.
Caitlin nodded. “Sure, a little reunion is fine. It’s been a while since we went back to our alma mater. It would be nice to take a look.”
Caitlin remembered that when she was in school, Professor Xavian was still teaching at NYU. Now, many years had passed, and she wondered if she’d st
be able to see him.

When her brother Simon came home, Wendy pulled him aside. “Hey, do you know why the VX boy band disbanded? What happened?”
“What disbanded?” Simon asked, still unaware of the news, since he had just gotten off work at the hospital.
“The boy band, my idols!” Wendy showed him the news.
After Simon read the article, he simply smiled and didn’t say anything.
“Hey, why are you laughing? Tell me what’s going on!” Wendy pressed.

Simon turned around and said with a serious tone. “When idol groups suddenly disband, there’s only one reason.”
“What reason?”
“You won’t understand,” Simon said dismissively.
“Why?”
“Because you’re clueless!” he teased.
Wendy, upset by the comment, grabbed a cushion and started throwing it at him until Simon gave in.
“Fine, fine, I’ll tell you! There’s only one reason: they pissed off the capital!”
“Pissed off the capital? What capital?” Wendy was confused.
“Which top–tier star doesn’t have powerful backers?” Simon explained. “Once the capital pulls out, the group will collapse like a house of cards.”
Wendy felt uneasy. Who was this mysterious capital giant that had caused her idols‘ downfall? How could they do this? How was she supposed to keep following her favorite boy band?
Back at DanCa Estate, Caitlin also researched the VX boy band’s sudden disbandment. She soon discovered the truth .
The VX boy band was under Stellar Entertainment, and the largest shareholder of Stellar Entertainment was Vanderbilt Enterprises Group.
So, who else could be behind the sudden disbandment of such a popular group, if not the capital backers? Caitlin made the connection to Benjamin and Sebastian’s relationship.
Could it be that Sebastian had a hand in the disbandment, especially after the incident at NO.8 Club, where Caitlin had hired the boy band for a performance?
If Sebastian was behind this, why did he do it? Was it out of spite?
Caitlin thought about it for a moment, then picked up the phone and dialed Yosef’s number.
“Hello, Yosef. I want you to sign the seven members of the VX boy band under Prosperity Entertainment immediately. We’ll handle the rumors of disbandment by saying they’ve just switched agencies. No need for any further explanation.”
Prosperity Entertainment (PE) and Stellar Entertainment (SE) were two of the biggest entertainment companies. With CL Group now in control of both acquiring a few new artists was not a problem.
Caitlin took a deep breath after hanging up. Thinking of Sebastian’s cold face, she couldn’t help but feel that he was really asking for it!
Just one night later, the entertainment world was rocked by a sudden change.
The following morning, Sebastian heard the news that the VX boy band had been acquired by PE from the headlines.
What? They were already picked up by a new company after being disbanded?
“Tyler, find out what’s going on,” Sebastian ordered.
Tyler immediately started investigating. Soon, Xavi returned with the report.
“Mr. Vanderbilt, here’s the report,” Xavi said, handing him a sealed file. He opened it and read the results aloud. “The results show no connection between the samples. They don’t match.”

Sebastian leaned back on the sofa, unfazed. The results were exactly as he had suspected Caitlin was not Camellia His drinace had been the right
decision.
“Well, I knew it would be like this. Kick me out! I’m going to the hospital”
At that moment, he ran into Yosef outside the Vanderbilt estate.
“Sebastian, let’s go pick up Grandma from the hospital. I’m free,” Vincent suggested.
Sebastian, hearing his voice, grew even more annoyed, suspecting that Vincent had heard about the divorce and was secretly enjoying the nears.
Indeed, Vincent knew about the divorce but didn’t bring it up in front of Sebastian.
The two brothers went to the hospital, where Beatrice asked, “Where’s Caitlin? Why didn’t she come?”
“She couldn’t make it due to other business,” Sebastian replied, not daring to tell her the truth. If Beatrice found out about the divorce, she would likely be so upset she couldn’t even leave the hospital.
For now, they were going to keep this secret as long as possible.
But soon, Beatrice learned the truth from Grace and Hazel.
“What? Sebastian and Caitlin are already divorced? When did this happen?”
Beatrice was shocked. Grace explained, “It happened yesterday. Sebastian kicked Caitlin out!”
“Call Sebastian to me now!” Beatrice demanded, her face livid.
Grace smiled inwardly, knowing that now Beatrice would be the one to deal with Sebastian.
