Sebastian drove back to The Vanderbilt Family, in a great mood. Today, thanks to the opportunity of the succession ceremony, not only had he successfully proposed to Caitlin, but she also helped Felix and Madison resolve their marital crisis. Sebastian was confident that Madison would turn over a new leaf after this experience and make a real change.
On the way back, Arthur finally woke up. Caitlin asked with concern, “San, how are you feeling?”

Arthur smiled brightly, having agreed to help after Caitlin had told him about Kyle’s situation. According to the plan, he had invited Kyle to play hide and seek, then brought him out of the children’s playground and let both of them get “caught.”
Without such a seamless plan and perfect execution, how could the kidnappers have successfully acted during broad daylight with all of Sebastian’s security measures and Cloudtop Resort’s protection system?
With their flawless cooperation, the plan had worked, and Sebastian had gained the most. What man wouldn’t envy Sebastian for having such a brilliant and beautiful wife?
After dropping Arthur off at The Vanderbilt Family, the two of them went to the police station to meet with the coroner, Eric.
From the autopsy report Eric provided, it was clear that Teresa’s death was a murder, not a suicide. The examination revealed that Teresa nat been injected with a toxin, which caused her to lose all bodily functions and the ability to perform the wrist–cutting act
It was clear this was a case of murder.
“Whoever injected her with the toxin must have been a familiar person who regularly had access to the hospital. We can narrow it down to
staff, like the nurses or doctors,” Eric said.
“Right, it’s possible that someone inside the hospital was bought off,” Eric added.
“We are investigating this, and we should uncover the truth soon,” Eric said.
Having gathered the information, Sebastian and Caitlin left the police station. On the way, Caitlin still maintained her suspicion.

The next objective was to make sure Ximena got the punishment she deserved.
They immediately went to see Sienna. Sienna was in custody and didn’t know what was happening outside. She looked up when she heard the sound of high heels approaching,
Caitlin stood before Sienna and coldly asked, “Sienna, do you know why I’m here?
“If you’re trying to get something from the, I’m sorry to say, I don’t know anything”
Sienna refused to speak, which was a sign of her loyalty.

Caltiin sighed lightly. “I’m not here to interrogate you. Whether you speak or not doesn’t matter anymore. I’ve already figured everything out,

Caitlin sat on a chair not far from Sienna, as though they y were old friends chatting
Sienna frowned, completely unable to figure out Caitlin’s intentions. She didn’t know what Caitlin wanted to say.
“ Sigh, looking back on the past five years, I’ve lived in a conspiracy. You all deceived me, used me… it’s truly heart–wrenching.”
“After all, we were all being used by Shadow Moon Pavilion. You, Teresa, every member of the organization was just a pawn in Zorro’s hand. Isn’t that right?”
Sienna remained silent , and Caitlin continued to press. “I’ve successfully left. There’s nothing to worry about now. But I feel sorry for you. Do you know why?”
“You followed orders to complete the mission, but if the mission fails, what do you get? Death, right?”
“You , Sienna, were exposed and failed your mission, yet you’re still alive. Why is that? Because I had someone protect you! But your sister
wasn’t as fortunate.”
Mentioning Teresa, Sienna’s expression shifted. “What do you mean? What happened to my sister?”
“Teresa is dead.”
Caitlin spoke coldly, her voice emotionless.
“What? My sister is dead?”
Sienna suddenly began struggling, trying to stand up, but the chains pulled her back, causing her to fall back to the ground.
“My sister… she’s really dead… Did you kill her?”
“No!” Caitlin explained, “She died at the hospital yesterday. The autopsy report is out today. You can take a look for yourself.”
Caitlin tossed the autopsy report to Sienna, and Sienna took it in her hands, her hands trembling uncontrollably.
She couldn’t believe what she was reading. Her sister was dead!
She had been poisoned and made to look like a suicide !
“Who… who killed my sister?”
The cold, emotionless twin sister finally broke down when she heard the news of her sibling’s death. They had been adopted by Shadow Moon Pavilion, growing up together and relying on each other. Now her sister was gone . How could Sienna not be furious?
“The killer? I think you know better than I do. You and your sister, you worked for whom? For Zorro? You killed Freya, and you didn’t think someone would come aher you to silence you?”

Cartin’s words hit Sienna hard . She looked horrified, muttering. “ The young master… No, no way… How could it be …
Hearing her mention the young master, Caitlin was taken aback. “Sienna, what are you talking about? How is this connected to Zeke?
Sienna suddenly realized she might have walked into a trap. “No, you’re lying to me. I don’t believe my sister is dead!”
“Do you think I need to lie to you?” Caitlin threw a stack of photos in front of her. “Take a good look.”
The photos were taken at the scene of Teresa’s death , showing her sister’s lifeless body and the blondy aftermath.
Sienna’s eyes turned red, and her heart broke. She couldn’t believe it, but she didn’t suspect that Zeke had killed Teresa. But who did?
Could it be Ximena?
Though killing Freya was done on the young master’s orders, Ximena had been the one to initiate the mission!
To prevent them from leaking information, the person behind the murders most likely wanted to silence them. The more Sienna thought
about it, the more horrified and furious she became.
Caitlin noticed the change in Sienna’s expression. “So you already know who did it, don’t you? To
your sister?”
