“You are not going,” my father yelled for what seemed like the hundredth time. I shook my head as I paced the living room.
“I don’t care what you say, Dad, I’m going,” I retorted and he growled.

"I asked Aiden to go with you," my mother said as she stood in the doorway. "Go pack." I rushed to her and wrapped her in a hug.

"Baby," Blake started but I held up my hand to stop him. I was too emotional right now to deal with what he said.
"Stormy, I'm going to go with him. I will keep him safe," Eli said and Blake growled.

"Thank you. Aiden should be here soon. I'm going to check on Evie," I walked towards the stairs and Channing stopped me.
"I'm okay, go help your brother and I will be down in a minute," I told him. I walked up the stairs, ignoring the chatter of the living room. What Blake said hurt even though I know he didn't mean it like that, but his words stung. It's probably the hormones, but dam n, it had me questioning if we would still be together if I wasn't pregnant with his child.
