“What are you doing? Release me! Help-!” Alexander’s terror–filled howl echoed in the confined space.
His strength was no match for these wolves; they clamped a paw over his muzzle, silencing his desperate pleas as they dragged him into the carriage. The vehicle lurched forward, disappearing into the night.
My wolf felt a surge of unease.
He was thrown into a dark, damp den, his limbs bound tightly, helpless on the cold stone floor. A blindfold shrouded his vision, amplifying his fear.
“Who are you? Why have you taken me?” he snarled.
