Rejected and Pregnant Claimed By The Dark Alpha Prince Chapter 727

Chapter 727 Separated from his grandparents

Amelie walked into the kitchen the next morning. Noah rested comfortably in Ashna’s arms nearby while the household stirred with quiet activity. Amelie’s mother also joined her at the counter to help her. Several maids moved around them, preparing fruits, bread, and tea for breakfast.

Rolling up her sleeves, Amelie picked up a spatula and gently pressed it against the omelette sizzling in the pan.

“Mom, when are you and Dad planning to go to Zander’s house to meet his parents?”

Samyra was arranging sliced vegetables on a plate. Without looking up, she replied calmly, “Your father and I were actually discussing that. We’ve decided that you and Prince Gabriel should come along with us. Your presence will be important when we finalize the arrangements for Flora’s marriage.”

Amelie’s hand paused mid-movement. A faint crease appeared on her forehead as she flipped the omelette.

“I promised myself that I would never step into that pack again,” she said quietly but firmly. After a brief pause, she added, “Why don’t you invite Zander and his family here instead? They could come to San Ravendale.”

Samyra considered the suggestion for a moment. Then she nodded.

“That’s not a bad idea,” she admitted. “I’ll speak with Zander’s mother and see if they’re willing to visit San Ravendale instead.”

Amelie blinked in surprise, turning slightly toward her mother. She hadn’t expected that response. She had been certain that Samyra would insist on her compromise, perhaps even argue about the importance of family diplomacy. Instead, her mother had agreed without hesitation.

“Flora has committed crimes in my eyes,” Samyra said. “If not for you, this family would have fallen apart long ago. Amelie… the pain we caused you can never truly be forgotten.”

Her eyes filled with tears as she spoke.

Amelie slid the cooked omelette onto a plate and lowered the flame on the stove as she turned to face her mother. For a moment, she simply looked at Samyra before speaking.

“Mom,” she said gently, “I already told you that whatever you and Dad try to do now will always feel too little for what happened.” She stated. “But at least I don’t hold hatred toward either of you anymore.”

She leaned lightly against the counter.

“And besides, I don’t want Noah to grow up separated from his grandparents. I’ve seen how Dad plays with him… how much he cherishes him.” A faint smile touched her lips. “I also know Gabriel asked both of you to take extra care of me, even more than Flora.”

Samyra lowered her gaze.

“But you both need to stop worrying so much,” Amelie continued softly. “Don’t trouble yourselves over me. I’m doing well with my life now.”

“You are,” Samyra agreed, though hesitation lingered in her voice. “But—”

She stopped abruptly when she noticed someone entering the kitchen.

Gabriel stepped inside, his eyes immediately finding Noah in Ashna’s arms.

“Noah, come to Daddy!” he said warmly, reaching out and lifting the child into his arms. Then he glanced toward Ashna with mild curiosity. “Ashna, why did you bring him into the kitchen?”

Before Ashna could answer, Amelie spoke.

“I told her to,” she said simply. “Noah didn’t want to stay away from me while I was preparing breakfast.”

She gestured toward the stove and the half-finished dishes around them.

“It’ll take another twenty minutes. Go sit outside with the others.”

Gabriel shifted Noah comfortably against his shoulder, but his gaze remained on Amelie.

“If you need my help—”

He didn’t get to finish.

“Mom and I are here,” Amelie cut in calmly. “And the maids are helping too. Don’t worry about it.”

Gabriel nodded and glanced at Samyra for a brief moment before walking out with Noah.

“Mom, you should go to the living room as well. Sit with Dad,” Amelie advised, taking the knife from her mother’s hand. Samyra didn’t argue and walked out of the kitchen.

Instead of returning to the living room, Gabriel carried Noah out into the garden. The morning air was fresh, and the soft sunlight spread across the wide lawn where several trays of newly delivered plants were neatly arranged. The gardeners had brought them only the previous evening.

Gabriel adjusted Noah in his arms and walked toward the rows of young saplings.

“Look at these,” he said gently, pointing at the plants. “These arrived yesterday. Your mother is going to plant them today on your behalf. Isn’t that wonderful?”

Noah, of course, had little interest in the plants. His tiny hands reached for Gabriel’s face instead. His small fingers pressed against his father’s cheeks as he babbled happily.

“Daddy!” he exclaimed.

Gabriel chuckled softly, letting Noah explore his face while holding him securely.

“You’re enjoying your time with your boy, I see.”

The voice came from behind him.

Gabriel turned slightly to see Sage walking across the garden path toward them. Sage raised a hand and waved cheerfully.

“Hey, Noah!” he called.

Noah didn’t even glance at him.

It was as if Sage didn’t exist.

The little boy had already found something far more interesting, Gabriel’s collar. A silk scarf rested neatly around Gabriel’s neck, and Noah’s tiny hands immediately grabbed onto the smooth fabric, tugging at it with great curiosity.

“Say hello to your uncle,” Gabriel told Noah, holding his hands. But he pouted his lips, ready to cry. “Alright. Do what you want!”

Sage smiled seeing their relationship when Gabriel glanced at him.

“Noah is like that. Sometimes he takes too much interest in the person in front of him. Sometimes, he just ignores them. So, how have you been?” asked Gabriel.

“Wonderful! Every day becomes beautiful with Katelyn’s presence,” Sage replied.

“Mm.” Noah suddenly presented his father’s silk scarf to Sage, and the two men ended up laughing.

Sage took the scarf from him. “Thank you, Noah. Do you want me to keep this?”

Noah nodded with a toothless smile before looking at his father. “Bo Naa Bo…”

“What is he blabbering?” Sage chuckled in amusement.

“Maybe he’s asking me to give it to you,” Gabriel interpreted.

“Noah is such a blessing to you, isn’t he? You’ve found love thanks to him,” Sage murmured, folding the scarf.

“Yes. Noah is special to me. And will always be dear to me,” Gabriel stated, kissing the baby’s tiny forehead.
