Chapter : 1171

Someone knocked on the door.

Ivy immediately grabbed Nathan’s hand. “It’s Wanda!”

A moment later, Wanda’s voice came from the hallway. “Mr. and Mrs. Lowe, are you two up yet?”

Nathan raised a finger to his lips, silently telling Ivy to keep quiet.

She whispered, “What are you doing?” noveldrama

“Don’t talk,” Nathan murmured.

“But Wanda…”

Nathan lowered his head and kissed her. His voice was rough when he spoke. “Forget about Wanda. Focus on me.”

“But…”

“If you don’t say anything, she won’t know a thing.”

He kept kissing her.

The next second, Wanda’s voice rang out again. “Mr. Lowe, I know you’re already awake! Don’t think staying quiet means I don’t know what’s going on in there!”

Nathan went completely stiff. For a moment, he seriously wondered if Wanda had hidden some kind of camera in the room.

The knocking continued.

“Mr. Lowe, hurry up and open the door. If you don’t, I’m calling Mr. Keith. And if he hears about this, he’ll definitely make you sleep in the study!”

Nathan was completely speechless. Seeing the look on his face, Ivy couldn’t hold it in anymore and burst out laughing.

Nathan frowned. “What are you laughing at?”

“I just feel like laughing!”

“You’re not allowed to laugh.”

He reached out and started tickling her.

Ivy squirmed. “I’m still gonna laugh!”

Her soft body twisted beneath him, brushing against him through the thin fabric of their clothes. Nathan had already been worked up, and now, the fire only burned hotter.

He had never imagined he would be the kind of man with such a strong “appetite“.

Nathan reached out, pinched Ivy’s cheeks, and gave her a firm kiss before finally letting her go. Then, he got out of bed.

“Coming, Wanda!”

Ivy’s face was bright red from the kiss. She pulled the blanket over herself and buried her face inside.

Nathan opened the door and found Wanda standing outside.

“Who knocks like that this early in the morning?” he said. “You’ve been pounding on the door forever.”

Wanda looked completely unfazed. “I’ve taken care of you for years. I know your routine better than anyone. You’re definitely awake by now. You’re just lying there, refusing to get up. I told you last night you should sleep in the study and not get intimate

with Mrs. Lowe!”

Nathan sighed. “I didn’t.”

Wanda clearly didn’t believe him. “Really? I’m going in to check on her.”

She walked straight into the room and over to the bed.

“Mrs. Lowe, are you alright?”

Ivy looked at her. “I’m fine.”

“Did Mr. Lowe give you a hard time just now?”

“No, he didn’t.”

Nathan immediately spoke up from behind her. “See? I didn’t bother her.”

Only then did Wanda seem satisfied.

“Breakfast is ready,” she said. “You can come eat now.”

In the dining room, Nathan took a seat.

Wanda set breakfast on the table and glanced at him. “I still think you should sleep in the study.”

Nathan froze.

He had thought the whole thing was already over, but Wanda was still insisting he move to the guest room.

He said helplessly, “I already told you I’m not sleeping in the study. And you just saw for yourself. I didn’t do anything to her.”

Wanda shook her head.

“If I hadn’t arrived when I did, you would’ve had your way with Mrs. Lowe! I just know it!”

Wanda had been around long enough to recognize the signs.

Just now, Ivy had been hiding under the blanket, her face flushed red, her eyes bright and shy, like a rose that had just begun to bloom. 1

Wanda didn’t need proof. She could guess exactly what the two of them had been doing.
