Chapter 60
Chapter 61 The Wrong Man
She was dragged from the car and toward the villa.
The bodyguards had already kicked the door open and hauled Bob off his bed. He was still shouting and cursing, “Who are you! How dare you grab me! Let go p>
When he was thrown hard onto the floor, he saw a pair of black, handmade leather shoes. His entire body went rigid. He slowly looked up, and upon seeing the visitor, a fawning smile spread across his fleshy face.
“What brings you here, sir? A pleasure to have you p>
Jasper stared at him, his gaze like a knife. He didn’t say a word, but Bob felt as if he were being flayed alive.
Just as he was about to beg for mercy, his gaze shifted and he saw the woman behind Jasper. His heart jumped.
Bob would never forget. It was because of this woman that he’d ended up in this state!
Incompetent men often project their hatred onto women.
Jasper followed his gaze and sneered. “What, you want to try for a second time p>
Bob instantly cowered. Thinking of his permanent damage, he was filled with both hatred and fear. “I wouldn’t dare, of course I wouldn’t! You’ve got it wrong, sir p>
Seeing Bob’s pathetic state, and thinking of Tatiana carrying his child, an inexplicable rage ignited in Jasper’s chest, burning its way up.
He flicked his hand, and his men immediately swarmed in, beating Bob senseless.
Bob shrieked in pain, begging for mercy.
Tatiana couldn’t bear to watch. She turned her head, averting her gaze, but Jasper grabbed her chin and forcibly turned her head back, forcing her to look.
Several of Bob’s teeth had been knocked out. His mouth was full of blood. He had lost control of his bladder, and the stench of urine filled the air. The scene was disgusting.
Her stomach churned violently. A powerful wave of nausea surged up, and she couldn’t suppress it, vomiting all over him.
The nourishing soup she had just eaten came back up.

The acidic smell was overwhelming.
All the bodyguards stopped, staring in shock, their hearts pounding.
The atmosphere froze.
Tatiana shut her eyes, terrified, her body rigid, bracing for the inevitable pain.
Just when everyone thought Jasper would explode, he did nothing. He just shoved her away in disgust, stood up, and pulled out a handkerchief to wipe himself off. Updates are released by.net
“Let’s go p>
He strode outside, not wanting to stay a second longer.
His men released Bob and were about to follow when he tossed out one last command: “Bring her p>
“Yes, sir p>
Tatiana was hauled away, leaving Bob gasping on the floor.
Jasper returned to one of his own properties, Maple Manor, and Tatiana was brought along.
He was a severe germaphobe. Even the maids weren’t allowed to stay long in this house. His men stood guard outside, leaving Tatiana alone in the living room, anxiously looking around.
The decor was all cold blacks, whites, and grays, without a hint of color, just like him.
She clenched her hands, her heart pounding, with no idea what she was about to face.
When Jasper emerged, steam rising from his body, her shoulders instantly tensed, and her eyes shot to him.
He was wearing only a pair of pants. Droplets of water trickled down the lean muscle of his perfect physique, disappearing into his waistband.
“Keep staring and I’ll gouge your eyes out p>
She immediately looked down, not daring to look again, her heart in her throat.
Here it comes. He’s finally going to punish me.
“Did you see that pathetic fool?” Jasper’s voice was calm, even tinged with a strange pleasure.
Tatiana thought of Bob’s condition and shivered.

“And you want to keep his spawn p>
She knew he had misunderstood, that he thought she was carrying Bob’s child. She didn’t know how he’d reached that conclusion, but she didn’t explain.
Even if she did, he wouldn’t believe it was his.
Her silence made that small trace of pleasure vanish from his face.
“Speak p>
“I won’t keep it p>
She didn’t want this child either. Her body just couldn’t withstand an abortion right now.
It doesn’t matter if I’m pregnant, because this child won’t live to be born anyway.
He finally seemed satisfied.
“Grandpa cannot be agitated before or after his surgery. You will keep the child for now. After his surgery is over, you will get rid of it p>
She nodded. “Okay p>
She looked obedient and compliant.
But when she looked up at him, a flash of sorrow crossed her
eyes.
I wonder, when he finally learns the truth, if he’ll regret this moment, regret personally destroying his own child.
“From today on, you’re staying here p>
She snapped her head up, her face a mask of disbelief. “Stay… stay here p>
Jasper looked impatient. “Grandpa is sending people to watch you. You have to stay here p>
Seeing her hesitation, he sneered. “You didn’t think I wanted you here, did you? If it weren’t for Grandpa’s surgery, you wouldn’t be qualified to even set foot in this place p>
Tatiana was neither servile nor arrogant. “I never… expected to p>
This rare mercy from him was only because of his grandpa.
“You’ll sleep in the maid’s room by the service entrance. Do not go near the second floor. Understand p>

She nodded.
“And I don’t like noise. You will make your presence as insignificant as possible p>
