Maria and Davon barely had time to process what was going on. Next thing they knew, fists and feet were flying everywhere, landing blow after blow. The pain was brutal. They screamed their heads off and rolled around on the ground.
Between classes, Kayla was deep in her vocab drills when Tania came rushing back from the bathroom. Tania slid right up to Kayla and dropped her voice to a hush, like they were plotting something.
