Chapter 182
Chapter 182:
Realization struck Harlan like a lightning bolt. Without hesitation, he grabbed Sylvie and Vivian by their hair, yanking them forward and delivering sharp kicks to their knees, forcing them to kneel before Brenna.
“Mr. Mitchell, these two masterminded the whole scheme. They told us to target Miss Harper. We had nothing to do with it,” Harlan declared.
Ethan watched Harlan’s act with a cold, unreadable gaze, then turned to Brenna, his expression softening. “What do you want to do with them?” he asked.
Brenna met Sylvie’s and Vivian’s terrified eyes without hesitation. “They invited me here to apologize. They should prove their sincerity by drinking the spiked drinks,” she said firmly.
Still kneeling, Sylvie and Vivian trembled under Harlan’s hold, their heads tilted upward in fear. They had never before witnessed Ethan’s ruthlessness and didn’t know he owned the bar. All they knew was that the bar’s owner was a man of immense influence — someone not to be trifled with.
Desperation filled their eyes as they glanced toward Joonas for help. Vivian, clinging to her last shred of hope, squared her shoulders and shouted, “Mr. Fowler, are you seriously going to let Ethan do whatever he wants and ruin your business? Will you just stand by while he throws his weight around p>
Joonas stepped forward and kicked Vivian to the floor. His voice was sharp and final. “Miss Morrison, you’re mistaken. The Imperial Bar belongs to Mr. Mitchell p>
Vivian gasped as a few strands of her hair were pulled, sharp pain shooting through her scalp. She grimaced, locking wide eyes on Ethan in disbelief. She had heard rumors — the bar’s owner was a powerful figure in both legal and underground circles, a man no one dared cross.
She collapsed to the floor, unable to speak.

Overwhelmed by despair, she exchanged a glance with Sylvie.
Why had they ever trusted Rosie? Now, as disaster unfolded, Rosie was nowhere to be found, leaving them to suffer alone. It was infuriatingly unfair.
But the Higgins and Morrison families maintained deep business ties with the Harper family. Turning against Rosie could spell disaster for them in many ways, so they dared not mention her involvement.
Meanwhile, Brenna calmly poured two glasses of the spiked drink and placed them in front of Sylvie and Vivian. “Drink,” she said evenly. “Then this will be over p>
Sylvie and Vivian stared at the liquid as the blue and yellow pills dissolved ominously. They knew exactly what the pills would do.
Ethan’s voice cut through the tension coldly. “Drink p>
Ethan cast a chilling look at the bodyguards behind him, his voice ice-cold as he commanded, “Force them to drink it p>
He hadn’t witnessed Brenna being forced to drink earlier, but he could easily imagine how helpless she must have felt, surrounded and bullied by so many people.
