Chapter 64
“Why are you guys doing this? Why the sudden hate? Can you tell me what is going on?” I asked the trio, my eyes resting on an Adam who stared at me like I was some fly that was beneath his feet.
I was so dead curious now. Had anything happened? Did Claire say something that was untrue?
“Did Claire say something? Don’t listen to her! She is I was still speaking, the pitch of my voice rising higher, when suddenly, my words were cut off, as my mouth was subjected to significant pain.
Daniel slapped the hell out of my mouth.
I tasted blood in my mouth.
Did Daniel just slap me? Why? I knew the answer the next minute from Noah.
“Never mention Claire with your stinky mouth. She is a hundred times better the woman you will ever be.” He stated gruffly, before giving Daniel a thumbs up.

It was like he was deriving joy from my pain. I opened my mouth to say something to him, but shut it, when Daniel’s slap ran across my mind.
The slap has slapped some good sense into me, or so I thought. All I knew was that I wouldn’t talk now unless I was being spoken to or asked a question.
I don’t know what had happened to turn them into these ghastly monsters, but I will just have to keep quiet tonight and bear whatever they have coming my way. Tomorrow will be better. It had to be.
But if the triplets had turned against me this way, how am I sure that the rest of the pack hadn’t?
Well, the king had better send me away quickly. I don’t need much drama. Seeing Adam act this way toward me tonight was enough drama that I can handle.
Right now, I felt like curling into a ball and crying out in anguish. My heart was pained and crushing, and I needed to let that emotion out.
Guess I would just have to wait.
A hard slap on my butt cheek brought my attention span back to the triplets in front of me.
“Zoning out already? Don’t you dare.” Adam said.
Noah was behind me, so he could have been the one that had spanked me.
Right now, I didn’t care even though I felt filthy like a whore. I just wanted to get away from them.
Can they move their asses and get on with it, so that I could have an alone time for myself?
“Let’s move forward. We have much planned out for you.” Adam continued, turning away from me and stepping into the path that I had tried running away from. We are entering the cold area again.
Well, here we go.
We must have walked for a couple of minutes, probable fifteen when we came out from the coldness into a wide spanned region that looked like a boundary from my angle of view.
Were they sending me away from the pack? Was the decision of the lycan king to kill me, and so this trio have taken it upon themselves to set me free? Deciding to frighten me so that I could leave them and flee without feeling bound or hesitating because of one of them?
If that was so, wasn’t the slap and spank too far? Was it part of their plan?
My eyes scanned the whole area sharply, there was no one in sight.
But the strong feeling remained that this was the boundary of of our pack with the outside world, a world I have never been in.
“I think this is a good place for her to die. No one will hear her screams from here. We can do away with her, and go back before anyone notices.” Daniel mentioned, and I gasped before I could stop myself, causing Adam to break out in a loud laugher.
“You must be stupid. Why do you think we led you over to this place. To sleep with you? Nah, not at all. You are not worthy of our glorious penises. You dont deserve pleasure. All you deserve is pain, and pain you will get. I think you have had enough pleasure that will last you the trip to hell.” Adam mentioned, before dealing me a blow to the mouth, before I could even ruminate on his statement.
The blood I tasted now spurted out of my mouth like a leaking pipe left unattended by a plumper.
This shit was real. They were going to kill me, and no way could I outrun them. I wasn’t like them.
Before I could recover fully from that, I felt a huge blow on my behind.
Daniel or Noah, one of them must have found a stick. A heavy one.
I fell to the ground writhing in pain, my back throbbing in pain.
But wait, before I die, I had to ask them what I had done at least. What had I done to deserve this cruel fate?
I lifted my head to ask this question, but it was met with a ferocious kick from Adam, which caused more blood to spurt out of my mouth.
My face must be bleeding now from that kick too. I could feel the liquid trickling down my face.
I became sure when the stick landed on my head.
For a minute, I felt woozy and dizzy, drowsy even, their laughs and hand shakings, sounded like some deranged music to my ears.
The earth was moving and turning around. But I needed to ask them this question before I died. I needed to know.
“Why? Why me?” I muttered, knowing that they would hear me. I was sure that my face was be covered with blood now, but I didn’t care as I raised my head again, not minding the fact that I should be pretending to be dead.
This seemed more important.
Knowing the reason why they wanted me dead, when some hours ago they were almost eating from my fingers and worshipping the ground that I walked on.
