The Play-Toy Of Three Lycan Kings Chapter 82

Chapter 82

Aliana. Queen Aliana. Not a bad name for a queen if you ask me. Aliana; what could be the meaning?

“Does the name sound familiar, Maya? You are not saying anything.” Queen Aliana mentioned.

Saying anything? Should I be saying anything because she told me her name? When I tell my name to someone, I don’t wait for them to say something, I just move on to the next subject, unless I didn’t know their name, then I expect them to say their own.

The queen knows mine. What was she expecting me to say?

“You have no questions at all to ask me, do you?” she asked, and I shook my head without wasting any time.

I needed to be out there, with Laura and Peter; we were supposed to be on our way to shopping. But this woman…does she do this with every newcomer in her pack?

“Honestly Maya She stood up from her seat as she began to speak again, and strolled to the window, peering away from it. “I know that you remember so much more than you let on. I know that you didn’t lose your memory a hundred percent.” She whispered, as if she was talking to the gentle cool air that flew around the room, as if she didn’t want anyone else to hear, including me, but I did hear, and because of that my heart was beginning to do crazy things in my chest.

When she turned away from the window and stared at me, and began to walk toward me, a variety of thoughts began to run through my mind. ’would she hurt me now? Would she oust me of the community? would she confine me to a holding cell like the one in my pack.

The remembrance of the holding cell left a stale taste in my mouth and nostrils.

I wanted to get out of here. I wanted to take in puffs of fresh air as I walked and laughed with Laura and Peter. This place was beginning to get uncomfortable; it was pushing me to throw up. Not even her next words were able to put me out of the beginning state of hysteria

“Maya, calm down. I won’t put you in the dungeons, neither will I hurt you, and neither will I oust you out of the community. I am not sure why you are not telling me the truth, why you are not telling Laura and Peter the whole truth, but I will wait till you are ready. Your aura is good, that’s why. Did she tell you that I read auras? Your aura right now is so gloomy, but you are a good person, always have been. I saw that. You are traumatized by a haunting experience, and don’t worry you don’t need to tell anyone, not even me until you’re ready.” She stated, and turned away from me again, facing the wall again, possibly giving me time to collect my shattered myself together.

I had thought that my secrets were safe in my thoughts, but hearing one mention of my greatest secrets was upsetting. I was feeling the tear gates about to open.

Traumatized? Could that explain the near hysteria I was having at the thought of holding cells?

I cursed Adam inwardly again. He had caused this. I had been naïve, but he didn’t have to be this cruel.

I zoomed out of my sorry state and thoughts when I heard the queen start to talk again. “From what Laura had mentioned, he had found you on the borderlines-I will have to ask him which of the borders, to be sure so that I can actually pinpoint where you are from. We share borders with two separate distinct communities. One is a community of witches like us, the Moset community. Good allies of ours, and then the lycan king’s territory. The swift hate in her voice when she mentioned the lycan’s territory didn’t go unnoticed by me. That knowledge was swallowed up again by hysteria. My hands were beginning to shake, but I tried with all my might to quell them so that I could listen more to what the queen was saying.

“If you were found on the borderlines for the witches’ territory, then that means that you had probably done something wrong, and would explain the trait of magic in you. If that is so, then we might have to return you when the king finds out that you are here. But if you were found at the borderlines of that lycan king There was it again, the spiteful hate, a sharp contrast in the normalcy of her voice when she spoke about the witches’ territory that had a male leader.

What happened? Did the lycan king offend her? were they at a silent war? Could they be one of the communities that had signed a peace treaty those years ago?

Hmm, I will have to ask Laura and Peter these equations. They would explain it in better terms than the queen even though she was the one that knew and had promised to keep my secret of no memory loss.

Time always does tell. I was one experiencer of that. For more chapters visit.net

“Now Maya..” she turned, and stared at me blankly. There were rarely emotions in those eyes, just that blank stare, which were alight with life now.

Did she find me a worthy lab rat to poke around with?

“Don’t look at me like that, Maya. I don’t see you as a science experiment. I will let you live your life and make your own choices.” She said, before waving me off-her way of dismissing me off.

Without much ado, I swerved as fast as I could, and zoomed toward the entrance. And just when I was about to open the door. She called me again.

What now? I thought turning to look at her.

“You didn’t ask me the name of this community? Well, for your information, it is called Zophar. Welcome to Zophar, Maya. I hope you enjoy your stay here.” She said, before disappearing into the wall.
