The moment Jensen finished speaking, Natalie’s expression darkened.
“He’s my husband! He has a name! His name is Baron! Jensen, what does your hand pain have to do with me? What’s the relationship between us? Besides, you were the one who insisted on brewing tea. Without hesitation, Baron poured out the half–brewed black tea.

Jensen’s chest heaved with rage, but he didn’t dare lash out at Baron in front of Natalie.
Inside, though, the pain was sharp.
Natalie liked white tea?
Why didn’t he know that?
He had always assumed women preferred red tea or black tea, which was why he had only ordered those. It had never even crossed his mind that Natalie liked white tea.

Watching his movements–smooth and flowing, almost as though he was intentionally showing off in front of Jensen–made Jensen’s chest feel even tighter.
Natalie, however, looked at Baron in amazement. “Baron, you actually know this complicated brewing method? This was how the nobility brewed tea in ancient times!”
Baron knew Natalie was well–versed in tea and would recognize the uniqueness of his technique. He had originally planned to show her one day, mainly to put Jensen in his place, but he hadn’t expected her admiration.
It filled him with ease and satisfaction.
“I was bored, so I studied it. I even apprenticed under an old master for over a year.”
Baron said it casually, but Natalie knew that devoting a year to learning tea brewing showed how calm and steady his heart was.
Perhaps the violent days outside had left him yearning for peace, and that was why he had turned to tea.
The thought left Natalie feeling a pang of tenderness for him.
“Then I’m in for a treat. You’ll have to brew tea for me often. I love drinking it—and I love watching you even more.”
Her soft voice pierced Jensen’s chest like a blade.
