Her tone was calm, almost careless.

Natalie felt nothing.
She could list endless things she had done for him, but what was the point now?

Natalie gave no response.
Jensen followed the steps he’d just recently learned, but for a pampered young master unused to housework, the gap between watching a video and actually doing it was enormous.
In minutes, he’d already scalded himself several times.
His pale, slender fingers were red and swollen.
He looked up at her pitifully. “Natalie, is brewing tea really this hard? This painful?”
Natalie turned her head away.
Making tea was never easy. And hadn’t she once learned to grind coffee beans by hand for him, simply because he disliked instant coffee? Her efforts had been far greater than this.
Suddenly she felt foolish for even being here. What a waste of her time.
She was about to speak when Jensen rushed on nervously, “It’s fine, I’m almost done. I know you came today because you have something to say. Just let me finish this cup first. It’ll only take a moment.”
Like a frantic child, he hurried on–hurried and clumsy, only hurting himself more.
Looking at his ten fingers, swollen like red radishes, Natalie finally couldn’t stand it.
“Jensen, you’re just wasting good tea.”
She reached to take the teapot-
But another hand beat her to it.
“Mr. Jensen, someone of your stature shouldn’t be doing rough work like this.”
The familiar voice came from above.
Natalie’s head snapped up. She caught sight of Baron’s striking profile.
