Chapter 28
Chapter 1
Chapter 1
My mom had been living the high life for forty years, only to be exposed as a “fake heiress p>
The “real heiress” showed up at our door with her daughter, crying and wailing, demanding that Mom and I he kicked out immediately.
“Mom! Dad! We’ve been struggling out there for forty years – it’s been hell! We’ve finally found our family p>
“Eldest Bro, Second Bro! I’m your REAL sister! Why should this bitch get to steal my life p>
Ouch! They were even waving around paternity test report with Grandpa’s name on it. Check latest chapters at.net
Grandma’s face was stone–cold, while my two uncles just stood there, too scared to say a word.
Seeing this, the “real heiress” and her daughter got even cockier, straight–up snatching Mom’s designer necklace and handbag, then barging into MY
room.
They had the audacity to point right at our faces and tell us to get lost.
“Cat got your tongue now, huh? If you had any dignity left, you’d leave on your own! Forty years of playing house in someone else’s home – have you no shame p>
Knowing the truth, I just looked at them with pity.
Sure enough, Grandpa burst through the door in the next second, nearly tripping over himself in his rush. He looked straight at Grandma and shouted
“Honey, you gotta believe me – I never, EVER cheated on you p>
Then he pointed at the stunned “real heiress” and spat:
“Where the hell did this crazy woman come from, trying to ruin my reputation p>
“I’m pushing eighty and I’ve NEVER had a daughter p>
I was buried in work at the office when Uncle Mike called.
“Sweetie, we’ve got a problem! Some woman just showed up claiming she’s Mom and Dad’s real daughter p>
“And she’s saying your mom is a fake heiress – wants to kick her out p>
Grandma had thrown me into corporate training the second I turned eighteen, and I’d been swamped these days.
I nearly choked on my coffee. “Are you kidding me? Who still pulls this soap opera crap? Just kick her out p>
But then I heard this awful shrieking in the background – some woman wailing at the top of her lungs.
“Brothers! I’m supposed to be your little princess! All these years, you should’ve been spoiling me rotten p>
“Uncle Mike! Uncle Dave! I’m your real niece! After all these years, we’ve finally found each other p>
I literally got goosebumps. The whole thing gave me the creeps.
Through all the chaos, I couldn’t make out what Uncle Mike was saying, but he sounded totally panicked.
After he hung up, he shot me a text:
[I thought it was a scam too, but they’ve got DNA tests! Get home NOW p>
My stomach dropped. This was getting real.

Chapter 1
Grandpa and Grandma were famous for their rock solid marriage – just two sons and my mom, their three kids.
Mom had been their precious little princess since day one, spoiled absolutely rotten. She was the Hartwell family’s golden girl, no question.
And now some random woman was waving around DNA tests calling her a fake? Absolutely insane.
I didn’t waste another second getting home.
Before I even made it through the front door, I could hear this obnoxious voice talking down to everyone.
I walked in and sure enough – some middle–aged woman I’d never seen before.
Mom was standing across from them, my two uncles huddled in the corner looking relieved as hell to see me.
Before I could say anything, the woman looked me up and down like I was trash.
“So you must be the fake’s little girl p>
