“This,” George said, his voice clear, “is proof the defendant deceived my client, tricked her into IVF, and implanted an embryo made from his sperm and another woman’s egg, without my client’s knowledge or consent.
“This shows the defendant treated my client like a surrogate, not a wife.”
The courtroom went dead silent.
Reese closed her eyes, feeling everything hit her at once.
