Rejected Luna: Untamed Desire Of The Lycan Alpha Chapter 407

Chapter 407 Toddler Tantrum

Dominic looked utterly disgusted with the notion alone that he had to share the room with the people around him. Tao, he could manage, but what about the rest?

“It’s not as awkward as you are making it out to be,” said Tracy as she made her way to the third floor. “We can share these two rooms just fine. So calm down, Romeo.”

The Romeo in question looked like he was very much bothered by the very fact that he had to spend a few hours with the rest of them. Dominic spun on his heels, his knuckles crackling as he clenched them too hard. He said to Tracy, “I am not going to share the damn room with anyone.”

Tracy paused, and Finn was sure that everyone’s heartbeat paused along with hers. When the witch twisted on her feet and glared at Dominic, every single man in the vicinity stepped away. She took a step toward Dominic and tipped her head to one side. “Well, boohoo, darling. It’s either you share this damned room with us, or you sleep inside the SUV. It’s up to you.”

She then turned to look at the rest. “You have a problem as well?”

Finn, along with the rest, shook their heads at once.

Tracy huffed. Playing with the room key, she shifted her head from right to left. One by one, she looked at the five men before saying, “Veronica can stay with me and with us, you —”

She raised her hand to point at Dominic, but before she could pick him up, Finn intervened. “I will stay with you.”

He spoke so hastily that he forgot about Ajax and Laxus; Tracy herself turned to look at him.

Ajax snorted after hearing his response, while Laxus rolled his eyes, simply stupefied by the shamelessness of the man. As for Tracy, she simply eyed him with confusion. The witch was indeed shocked by the sudden outburst of the wolf. Earlier, she had been lost in her own thoughts.

But with Finn interrupting her, he made her break through her composure. Her brows started to knit together as she stared at the wolf in front of her. He looked oddly determined, as if it were the hill where he was determined to die. He even glared at Dominic, who glowered right back at him.

“I wanted to try what we did earlier—” Tracy began. What she didn’t tell these men was that she had a feeling that one of the failed experiments of Morga might be hiding in this hotel or near it. She needed Dominic’s affinity with magic to trace him down.

But if Finn were to kick him out, then how was she supposed to do it?

“I said I will be the one sharing the room with the two of you.” his tone was determined. There was absolutely no chance for her or anyone else to argue with him. Though his arrogance did make Tracy frown. This wolf had no right to make demands, and yet he was still showcasing his authority. Like he had the right to do it.

Tracy slowly shifted her body to look at the man. She narrowed her gaze and looked at him. She hated being commanded, and Tracy was determined to get this message firmly printed and embossed in the mind of the wolf. Once she was certain that the pup had understood her meaning, she turned to look at Dominic, who was standing so stiffly that she was worried that the alpha might die fighting for his virtue, not like he had any to protect.

“Fine. Just stop arguing with me, wolf.” Not wanting to go through another round of quarrel, Tracy conceded, but she made her tone quite clear that she was only acquiescing and not taking commands from anyone.

She then turned on her feet and headed up to the third floor, already feeling like another headache was going to explode in her head.

“I am a lycan, you know?”

Tracy paused and turned to look at the man walking beside her. “And what do you mean by sharing such a useless piece of information with me?”

“You keep calling me wolf. I am not a wolf.” Finn corrected her with a sweet voice that nearly made her groan. She had a feeling that this man was going to be even more problematic than others. “It’s the same thing. Lycan…wolves… they are the same. Your essence and strength might be different, but you two are the same kind. I bet there are times when you get confused as well.”

She wasn’t even interested in this topic, but the lycan didn’t seem to understand. He continued speaking, “Of course it matters. Who said that lycans and wolves are the same? We are more vicious. I can assure you of that.”

“Congratulations. It seems like you guys have finally found something to agree on. Now, can you stay quiet? My head is hurting a little.” She had no desire to play friends with this man.

“Right.” He lowered his head, the light in his eyes diminishing. “Of course, you are not interested in talking with me. Why would you even want to talk with me? It’s not like I have any affinity with magic.”

He looked so sullen that Tracy did a double blink. She just had to do a careful assessment to make sure that she was standing next to a fully grown man and not a toddler. Because there was no freaking way this man was actually pouting. But when she took a closer look, she realised that he was actually pouting. Sighing, Tracy ran a hand down her face. She had a feeling that by the time she would be done with this mess, she would have gone crazy.

This is going to be the death of me, she thought before rolling her eyes and continuing forward. Fortunately, her eyes were on the prize and she knew that catching the amorphous was much more important than worrying about the tantrums of these toddlers.
