“I can’t leave. They won’t let me.”

Xavier spoke up from the side at just the right moment.
“He’s right! Our trials are at the final stage. The improved serum works–but the side effects are worse than ever. If we push it recklessly, some wolves might literally die from the pain. Not everyone has the willpower you and Henry have.”
His voice sharpened with urgency. “We’re standing on the knife’s edge. If the serum fails, the

“Alpha Henry, she is the primary culprit in this outbreak. You cannot take her.”
