Susie pouted, clearly displeased.
Natalie was completely charmed by the two of them.

The children leapt off the sofa, one on each side, throwing themselves into her arms.

“Fine! The three of you sleep together–I’ll take the guest room. Happy now?”
Resigned, he turned to leave, only for Sean to grab his sleeve.
“Daddy, why can’t the four of us sleep together?”

He might not be able to keep his wife all to himself, but at least he could share the same bed; that was something.
