Payne, still shaken, hurried forward. “Witch Doctor, I’ve already given the orders. Don’t worry, no matter who’s behind this, I’ll find Ms. Stone as quickly as possible.”
Baron was anxious, but he had to maintain his current identity.
He nodded. “I’ll leave it to you, Payne. Now, take me to see your mother.”

Payne’s heart was pounding with excitement as he led Baron away.
Meanwhile, Flynn arrived back at the villa. The children were nowhere to be found. All he saw were his parents, Waylon and Ruby, still deeply asleep, and Rachel unconscious as well. The house was empty.
He called the family doctor at once. After examining Waylon and Ruby, the doctor confirmed their lives weren’t in danger, and Flynn breathed a small sigh of relief.
Rachel too was unconscious from drugs.
Flynn ordered the leftover food to be tested.
The results came quickly–sleeping pills.
When he tried to check the surveillance footage, he discovered the system had been sabotaged.
“Where are the kids? ”

When the cook heard that Waylon, Ruby, and Rachel had passed out from the food, she broke down crying.
“I swear I didn’t drug them! You have to believe me. I’ve worked for the Stone family for so many years. They’ve always treated me well. I would never do something like this!”
Flynn’s expression was dark, unmoved by her tears. His voice was calm, but heavy with threat. “I’ve already called the police. They’ll find out the truth. If you’re innocent, they won’t accuse you. But if anyone here has intentions against the Stone family, you’d better confess now,

Those children were Natalie and Baron’s treasures. After what had happened with Susie and Finn, they hadn’t been sent to kindergarten. Scan stayed glued to his sister’s side every day. For both of them to be missing now–Flynn was on the verge of losing control.
Just then, Yvonne finally rushed in with her people.
“You’re Yvonne?”
Flynn recognized her from photos. He knew she was his cousin.

His brows furrowed.
Yvonne paused, not seeing the man she had sent ahead. “Cousin, where’s the man I sent to you? He was disguised as a reporter.”
“That reporter was yours?”
Flynn blinked, taken aback.
Yvonne nodded quickly. “Yes. My brother told me to come check on Uncle and Aunt, so I sent someone to notify you. But we were intercepted on the road, and I only just made it back. How are Uncle and Aunt?”
Her clothes were disheveled, her face marked by signs of a struggle.
Flynn knew the brother she referred to was Baron.
Lowering his voice, he said, “My parents are safe. They were drugged with sleeping pills, nothing more. But the children… they’re gone.”

“Search everywhere!” she cried. “Turn the city upside down if you have to. Find Susie and

Her eyes burned red. Natalie was already lost under her watch. If the children suffered the same fate, she would have no choice but to end her life in atonement.
