Jonah grabbed Hailey’s wrists, pulled open the passenger door of his luxury car, and pushed her inside without giving her a chance to protest.
Speechless, Hailey had no choice but to sit beside him.
30 minutes later, they returned to the villa. One of the maids hurried to greet them
at the door. “Ms. Hailey, Mr. Pilsner, welcome home.”
Hailey nodded. “I’m going upstairs to take a bath.”
Without waiting for Jonah, she headed up the stairs.
She stepped into the room and took a relaxing bath. Then, she took out the stretch mark cream the doctor had prescribed and began applying it to her skin.
Kaia was younger than her, so although Hailey had always been confident in her looks, she wasn’t about to let pregnancy ruin her figure.
Stretch marks were not an option. No matter what, she wanted to look beautiful, even while being pregnant.
She applied the cream to every spot she could reach. When she was done, only her back was left.
After stretching her arm behind her, she tried to rub the cream on it, but she couldn’t reach properly.
Just then, there was a soft click. The door suddenly opened, and someone walked in.
Hailey immediately lay down, careful not to put pressure on her stomach. She grabbed a pillow and tucked it beneath her abdomen for support.
“Ms. Gomez, come help me with the cream,” she said.
Jonah froze at the doorway. It wasn’t the maid, Felicia Gomez, standing there. It was him.
He hadn’t left, and the moment he stepped into the room, he saw her lying on the wicker chair.
He had meant to leave, but then she called him.
He glanced behind him and realized Felicia hadn’t arrived.
Hailey, still unaware, called out again. “Ms. Gomez, I need help with my back. I can’t reach it.”
Then, Jonah stepped inside.
Hailey had just stepped out of the bath. She was wearing a nightdress with the ribbon at the back left untied.
A stretch of her fair, delicate back was completely exposed. At that moment, Jonah’s throat tightened involuntarily.
Her nightdress barely reached mid-thigh, leaving her long, fair legs exposed.
The room was filled with her skin’s soft, lingering sweetness, and the scent of warm water and floral soap clung to the air like a spell.
She had no idea Jonah had come in. Without fooking back, she pushed the bottle toward him. “Ms. Gomez, help me put the cream on my back, please.” Ceptent belongs
Then, she lay down.
Jonah picked up the bottle of cream. He had never done anything like this before so he clumsily squeezed some into his palm and rubbed his hands together.
Then, his large hand pressed gently against her back. Her skin was smooth and soft, almost slippery to the touch.
A flicker of heat stirred in Jonah’s eyes as he smoothed the cream over her back.
His hand slowly drifted down until it came to rest at the delicate curve of her waist.
Hailey lay still with her eyes closed, her voice lazy. “Ms. Gomez, a little harder, please.”
Jonah silently adjusted the pressure, his fingers pressing into the soft curve of her waist.
She let out a soft gasp. “Ms. Gomez, go gentler.”
Jonah paused. He had a feeling she was doing it just to mess with him. One moment, she wanted more pressure; the next, she said it was too much.
She was driving him crazy over something simple as putting the cream on.
That was just like Hailey.
Hailey asked, “Ms. Gomez, could you move your hand a little lower and rub some cream for me?”

Jonah’s gaze drifted lower, following
the curve of her waist beneath the
loose fabric of her nightdress. Then, he saw she was wearing pale lavender face underwear.
Heat rushed through him as his attention lingered longer than it should.
He was slowly having a boner.
“Ms. Gomez? Are you paying attention?”
Hailey found it odd because Felicia hadn’t made a single sound today.
