Chapter 684
[ 548 words ]
Yep, Yvonne had been on a rampage all morning, with no sign of cooling off. She’d already punched Dan and his fiancée both.
And now Julia was telling her-she’d gotten the wrong floor?!
So, wait. Dan and Aira were innocent? She’d just gone off and beat them up for nothing? Did that mean she was actually the unreasonable one here?
Oh, come on…
Julia shrugged. “Well, I saw you heading in to deck Dan, so I figured I’d keep my mouth shut.”
“Huh?”
Julia rolled her eyes. “He had it coming.”
Yvonne: “!!!”
Julia went on, “And that fiancée of his? She’s been talking trash about you all over the place. If you heard half the stuff she said, you’d have smacked her, too. Honestly, I’m glad you gave her a piece of your mind.”
Aileen nodded in agreement. “She totally deserved it, trust me. I can vouch for that.”
Yvonne: “!!!”
Sure, maybe they deserved it.
But now, looking at the whole thing, it was starting to feel like she’d just beaten people up for no reason.
“Jeez, you guys…”
Yvonne honestly had no idea what to say about Aileen and Julia right now. What kind of situation was this?
Julia shrugged again. “Look, when I saw you take down both of them, I figured you probably didn’t even look at who it was.”
If she’d actually seen their faces, she wouldn’t have gone for Dan and then Aira, right? Yeah, that was it.
When Yvonne had gone to confront Dan, Julia just assumed she’d sent her to the right room last night. Only when Yvonne went after Aira too did Julia realize just how bad she’d messed up.
Yvonne: “!!!”
When Julia said, “You probably didn’t even see who it was,” Yvonne just went numb.
Seeing Yvonne’s speechless expression, Aileen asked, “Wait, you really didn’t see who it was?”
Yvonne just sighed. “Nope. Didn’t see a thing.”
Yeah, she really hadn’t.
Yvonne: “By the time I woke up, whoever it was had already bolted.”
Hearing that, Julia and Aileen both froze.
Aileen: “They ran? Wait, so… it was a guy, right?”
Julia: “Yeah, are we sure it was a guy?”
Yvonne groaned. “What, you think it was a woman?”
Julia and Aileen: “…”
Honestly? They weren’t so sure anymore.
After all, if someone recognized Yvonne and still dared to spend the night with her, it had to be a real
man If it was a woman, of course she’d run.
“Alright, enough with the wild guesses.”
This morning, Star had been giving her the same look, tossing out all sorts of wild theories-a ‘crime of passion,’ or ‘revenge on an old enemy,’ and so on. fo FindNovel
Yvonne’s head was spinning already.
And thanks to Star’s constant suspicions, she’d ended up going after Dan and Aira.
Aira, at least, wasn’t completely

rounding up people to go after her.
But Dan, honestly, just looked confused the whole time he was getting punched.
“We need to figure out who checked into that room last night,” Aileen said, slapping her hand on the table.
If Yvonne hadn’t seen who it was, they needed to get to the root of it.
The three of them headed out of the café, Yvonne grumbling at Julia, “Seriously, how do you mess up the floor? What good are you?”
Unbelievable.
But hey, after all these years, they were still friends. Even after that mess three years ago, they’d stuck together.
Otherwise, with Yvonne’s temper, Julia definitely would’ve gotten punched, too.
