Fated The Alpha’s Unwanted Luna Chapter 374

Chapter 374 Luna Viola

Blood immediately began pooling across the ground, spreading over the once-clean floor as the two bodies remained where they had fallen, their heads smashed beyond recognition. The Supreme Alpha stood over them with tiny droplets of blood splattered across his face and the front of his suit jacket.

He looked like the Grim Reaper collecting souls, the dark, murderous, utterly unapologetic expression on his face suffocating the entire atmosphere.

Nobody moved for a full minute, too stunned, too caught off guard by what had just happened right before their eyes.

It wasn’t unusual for Alphas to kill omegas who had committed grave offenses, but they were usually given a trial first because, no matter how weak they were, they were still pack members. Yet the way the Supreme Alpha had killed them was so cold, so merciless, that it sent shivers down everyone’s spine.

Hailey’s face had gone as pale as a ghost, most of the blood having landed on her million-dollar dress and across her skin. She and everyone around her were still frozen in place, still hadn’t fully recovered, when Sebastian turned to face the crowd and addressed them in a voice so cold and so controlled it felt like winter had descended on the hall without warning and turned everything to ice.

“This should serve as a clear warning to anyone who thinks they can lie about my Luna. If anyone, and I mean anyone, regardless of rank or where they come from, disrespects her, they will suffer consequences far worse than what just happened here.” He said, and then his eyes moved to Hailey. “Which brings me back to you.”

Hailey saw the look in his eyes and began backing away in genuine fear, but before Sebastian could move toward her, her father and brother had stepped forward along with a handful of important Alphas who had been mingling and talking earlier about what a promising match Hailey and the Supreme Alpha would make, only for them to see this scene.

Alpha Daniel had been speaking about it proudly all evening, certain Hailey would succeed and that Sebastian wouldn’t keep a cheating Luna by his side. Instead he had watched his daughter get slapped and thrown to the floor, and now she was in very serious trouble as the Supreme Alpha stood there looking like he was on the edge of smashing her head as well, the veins in his neck broadening and rising visibly against his skin in rage.

“Daddy!” Hailey scrambled to put herself behind him the moment he stepped forward. “He’s going to hurt me because I tried to shed light on what his Luna has been doing behind his back.”

Her words only made Sebastian’s anger rise further. Fur began pushing up along his skin as his wolf fought to break free of his control and bite off her idiotic head.

’Let me out! I want to teach her a good lesson!’ Muffin groaned, fighting for freedom he hadn’t had in a long time.

Viola, still in shock from the deaths of the two omegas, noticed the fur beginning to spread across his body and hurried to his side immediately. She knew that if he transformed right there, it would be seen as a direct challenge, one that could easily escalate into a war, something she desperately didn’t want, especially because it was Tess’s happy day and she refused to let it be ruined for the couple.

She placed her hand gently against his back and began rubbing slow, steady circles over it, trying to calm him down. Then she turned to face both Hailey and her father, deciding it was finally time to speak.

“Shed light, or try to destroy my reputation, Miss Hailey? Everything you said in this hall today is a lie. I never slept with any omega, and I have no reason to prove that to you, but—”

“Are you calling my daughter a liar, Luna Victoria?” Alpha Daniel cut in, his eyes hardening as he glared at the wolfless woman standing before him, getting her name wrong again as she was unimportant to him.

“Don’t you fucking glare at her or I will rip your eyes out, Daniel.” Sebastian’s voice came out dark and quiet and utterly cold, and it shocked the room all over again, because Alpha Daniel was not only the Alpha of the second largest pack in the world but was old enough to have been a peer of Sebastian’s own father.

Nobody had expected him to go that far for his wolfless wife, and the people in that hall who had been quietly harboring intentions against the Supreme Luna suddenly understood with complete clarity that going after her meant going through this man, this wall, who they had all mistakenly believed didn’t care about her.

Alpha Daniel met Sebastian’s eyes and said, “I will pretend I did not hear those words, Supreme Alpha. But I will not stand here and watch my daughter be shamed and humiliated by—”

“With respect, Alpha Daniel, I am the Supreme Luna, and I am well within my right to say exactly what I believe.” Viola’s voice cut in clearly, and she held his gaze without flinching when he turned to her. “Since when does the higher rank answer to the lower? What position does your daughter hold that gives her the right to accuse me publicly of something I did not do? I can speak, and I will, even to you.”

Alpha Daniel’s expression was one of pure shock, his eyes widening as though he had never expected those words to come from her mouth.

In truth, by rank and position, she stood far above both him and his daughter. Even he was expected to show her respect when everything was viewed according to werewolf law. However, because she was wolfless, Alpha Daniel had always considered her rank to mean very little, believing it existed only in name.

Now, in front of everyone, he was being reminded of exactly where he stood beneath her, and it felt like a public humiliation.

“Luna Victoria—” he began, but she cut him off sharply.

“It’s Viola,” she said, her voice hard and unwavering. “Luna Viola.”
